    Nice National Team Vest! :)

  • am i the only one that noticed she's wearing an olympic vest?

  • @primzahn The rules for International Skeet state the shotgun must be touching the body and the but of the stock must be just below the elbow. Other differences between American Skeet and International skeet are: The target is delayed from 0 to 3 seconds from the time it is called for, the targets travel about 50% faster and there is a change to the shooting order of the targets (more doubles - two targets at once on the stations 3, 4,5 - the middle of the field).

  • @bike9989 I shoot international skeet.In ALL station you have pairs exept in station 8. station 1...1H and a pair. station 2...1H and a pair station 3...1H and a pair station 4...1H,1L..1 pair breaking H 1st....and another pair breaking L 1st (total of 6 targets) station 5...1L and a pair station 6...1L and a pair station 7...just a pair station 8...1H and 1 L That's your 25 targets.
  • lol if u are swinging and waving with a gun like that in here you can leave right away

  • I watch your video at least once a day. Excellent technique with seasoned muscular memory. I like you a lot, robo-girl.

  • when i shoot clays i use slugs.

  • amazing tech!

  • luv your shooting style ma'am !!!

  • Stupid music.

  • good shooting but this song sucks fuckin ass

  • Skeet shooting women rule :D

  • Great video! Enjoyed watching very much. Thanks!

  • Learn some class WillTeleVision. This lady shows it.

  • Well done Emily. Good luck with the studies. Greetings from Australia.

  • the type of shooting that is demonstrated here is called low gun delay. i love those doubles onstation 4!

  • low gun delay is only part of international shooting. Compared to American Skeet:

    * Targets go about 50% faster (65Mph versus 45Mph)

    * 0-3 second delay from calling for target

    * different sequence of the 25 target - doubles at 3, 2x at 4, 5, only doubles at 7. Watch the video to see differences.

    * gun cannot leave the body until target has left the house

  • this sport sucks

  • @RiggermanRC

Good to see you took time to look at it though......

  • This is the last news concerning to my shooting range in Virginia.Finaly i modify the machines so the targets can land in the international distance. Now i got the international speed i need.If anybody from east coast want to shoot international in Virginia let me know. The palce is call "Oceana Skeet and Trap"

Go to my videos here and youll see the range ect...Emily,i would like to shoot with you some day " )

    Pull !!!!!

  • @rickynazario1969

I think I'll take you up on that offer. How far are you from Quantico? My brother will be at Marine Corps OCS soon and I plan on visiting him for the weekend.

  • @PatrioticNewYorker

Not sure but i think Quantico is around 3-5 hrs.I live in Virginia Beach, very close to the range.Love to shoot some international with you.Call me if you need....757-375-6395.

  • Not bad for a south paw. Haha just messing. Is that an MX8? I use a 682, but I've been wanting an MX8 for a while. I hope to see you in London or Rio soon.

  • @squrelbate Yes it's a Perazzi MX8. It's a great gun, I like it a lot and I would recommend it.

  • Are they usually 9lbs or more and what kind of loads do you use in competitions?

  • @freediverga International loads are a 24grams of lead. Number 9s for Skeet and Number 7 1/2s for Trap events. The go around 1325 feet per second (I do not have the metric conversion). For USA Shooting Winchester make the ammo and is available for all of us. A 24gram load is just under 7/8 ounce.

The load is much faster than NSSA or ATA loads which go at about 1200 fps. However the load itself feels more like a 20gauge load.

  • @bike9989 all I can find on the winchester webpage is 24gram AA target and it's 1350fps nothing close to 1200fps. Are you saying the the 24gram loads at 1350fps that faster than the NSSA or ATS and feel like a 20gauge?

  • @freediverga

Skeet AANL129, Trap AANL127 -- both run at 1325fps -- Because 24grams of lead is close to 7/8 oz they are near to same feeling as 20 gauge load. They go a faster so they are near 20 gauge load, but less than 1oz loads.

Normal Skeet/Trap loads go at 1200fps

  • @bike9989 thank you for the help. I wanted to start reloading something similar to that kinda of load for me and the wife to shoot skeet with but didn't want something with harsh recoil that would bother my wife.

  • @freediverga If you want a light load for skeet or trap with a 12 gauge then I suggest loading with 1oz. Look for the 1150fps loads. If you have a 20 gauge then checkout the Clay Universal powder with Remington Hull. That is one of the lowest recoil recipes.

  • SHES GOT A GUN!!!

  • it's all about Kolar honey

  • a skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet skeet!!

  • The world do soccer, the world shoot international skeet,,,,,,periot !!!!!

  • I did an international this year in Miami (check my videos) and it was not easy. Here nobody like international skeet only american skeet.I have no place to practice international.

  • @bigranger16 i don't care what you think she is sexy, and she can shoot like nobodies business! lol what do you use? 20 gauge, 12 gauge, what?

  • Perazzi MX 8 12 gauge is what she uses. International skeet shooters us a 24Gram load. This is just under 7/8 ounce of #9 lead that goes around 1325 feet a second.

  • i shoot at the same shooting range as emily blount and i have shot with kim rhode the olypic skeet shooter

  • Great shooting and very nice video! Would you mind telling me what is the length of the barrels on your shotgun please?

  • @bollyballboy Thank you! The barrels are 28" long.

  • Good Video

  • technic looks good, rythem looks good, im sure she got 20+

  • Outstanding !

  • I expect the two time World Junior Lady Champion in international skeet probably hit them all.

  • @rngrchad

    woah man

    you've got low standards

  • Bigranger, to each their own, but hands down, that lady is FIT, trim, quick and sexy. Not to mention she can shoot. Damn any man in their right mind would agree.

  • i really admire you for having such awareness of skeetshooting regulations... im a skeetshooter myself ( at Olympic skeetshooting) and believe me it's very rare to find a girl at your age with so much knowledge about this sport... i applause you...

  • cool i shoot to and good music good shooting

  • I always like watching the various rituals people have in their gunmounts, be it trap skeet or sporting clays.

  • AWESOME!! How much would i love to be married to you!! great to watch some really good shooting.

  • Nice music

  • Wow, awesome video post. Great sound track also. Thanks for putting it up. I cant wait to get out to the field now! I like the way you approach each target. Wish I had your mechanics. I guess it is a work in progress for me! Thanks again!

  • thats a very consistant shooting technique! well done good video

  • @reloader2208

  • i'm 13 and shoot with my fabric national It's the best weapen i ever had normaly i soot a hmmm 22

  • I really encourage you to join your local Scholastic Clay Target Program or 4H Shooting Sports program. They have coaches that can help you get better and the program has many benefits such as safety training, discipline, and camaraderie. I'm a coach for SCTP and it really is life changing for the kids. I highly recommend it!

  • Great Video. I shoot American skeet and use a mounted gun. How low does your gun have to be in International? Also is the target the same size?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks! The mounting line has to be below your elbow when held at your side. The line used to be determined by your waist, but they decided that the elbow was more fair. It is certainly easier for the officials to check. The gun has to reach that line, and stay there until the target leaves the house, which is a random 0-3 second delay from the time you call for the target. The target is a little flatter in height and made from a harder clay (to be able to handle the higher launching speed.)

  • Vincent Hancock uses a Beretta DT10, doesn't he?

  • Yes, Beretta is one of his sponsors and he received his gun as a benefit.

  • @mles1010 I thought he couldn't have a sponsor. The AMU, as I understand, gives each of them 2 guns.

  • @squrelbate You may be right. I met Vincent before he was in the AMU so that comment may have been from before he joined.

  • @mles1010 It is my understanding that, at no point in his past sooting experience, could he have a "sponsorship" with beretta. As a sponsored shooter or ex-sponsored shooter, he is no longer elligible to meet the amatuerism requirements.

  • I am using skeet chokes. My gun is a Perazzi MX-8, widely used by the USA team and members of other country teams. Another good international skeet gun is the Beretta DT10, also used by many members of the USA team.

  • is that a blaser

  • thats cool as hell, what chokes are you useing
