YouTube in PowerPoint with Free PPT Add-in

Do we need to download authorSTREAM on the host computer that we will be using to make the presentation

@LiberalM, Yes, authorSTREAM Desktop installs on your computer as a "ribbon" in PowerPoint. You can use this add-on to enhance your slides while you are creating your presentation. Your presentations are uploaded to the authorSTREAM website when you choose the "Upload" option within authorSTREAM Desktop.

Yes, you will need to download authorSTREAM Desktop app (a free, 2MB app) that creates a ribbon in PowerPoint 2007. You can then simply insert any YouTube video on your slide.

@ichigoku322, it's because most of the views are from the product page. So visitors simply see the video and download the software. There is no way to comment on the video, on the product page.

If you insert a video with this add-in, can you play the youtube video if you don't have internet access when showing the presentation?
