This was always a very cool band (more conceptual than coincidental that it had its innuendo and sexual leanings), with some great players going through its ranks. Too bad they didn't get a good crack (pardon the pun) at Europe, as hey would have found a ready-made audience to drive their ambition.

In the 80's i don't think Rough Trade had the largest fan base, but seeing what female performers have become, they just don't have any attitude. Thats why i think this Rough Trade's hits would work today just as much as it did back then.

You wouldn't believe it. 3 am in the morning this song just came back to me and I couldnt wait to see if it had been posted. I watched the recorded film clip version first and then saw this live recording. This is much better than the taped version. She could really sing. Her grabbing her boobs is a bonus really.
