"Separation of Church and State". I am a Muslim. I dont think that any faith should rule the state in which many faiths call home, even my own. If America was a Muslim Country it would be Ok. But it is not. Sharia law would make Christians, Jews, Pagans etc. feel like they did not have the same voice. The leaders should show due respect to a faiths. The US is not a Christian, Jew etc. nation. Its one nation under God/Allah.

You know what makes America great? The fact that our founding fathers gave us Separation of Church and State. There is no way in hell Sharia could EVER pervade the American justice system. America is heavily Christian with a powerful Christian political movement. Look how long Christians have been trying to get prayer into schools, yet for decades they have been rebuffed by the US Constitution. Muslims don't stand a chance of getting their Sharia into America. Our system is strong.

Jihad e Akbar is the Jihad by pen.

Jihad Asghar is further divided into three stages, depending on conditions and level of faith ie (i) To stop the evil by force. (ii)To resist the evil by speaking against it.

(iii)To believe in evil to be evil and abstaining from it.

Self-defense is also Jihad.

Interest is Haram(Not permitted) in Sharia. You cannot take or give interest. All business is dealt in terms of profit and loss. Every investor, shares Profit/loss, as per investment or terms decided.

Even on Loan, interest is not allowed but the purpose of Loan can be shared on a level that is just!! Out of the Profit, a Charity of 2.5% is deducted annually, which is distributed among the needy, poor, orphans and a list of people!! This is why it is acceptable to many!!
