no...it's not by accident - it's by design - some old time Patois speakers do that sometimes, so by mixing up the pronunciation, it sounds authentic.
I used to hear my nan say - Birt' CerFiticket instead of Birth Certificate...

no...it's not by accident - it's by design - some old time Patois speakers do that sometimes, so by mixing up the pronunciation, it sounds authentic.
