ya 1 on 1. i would say the tiger would take it for sure. lions hunt in packs and are more effective that way. where as tigers hunt by themselves and would have that advantage over a lion.

Tigers are big, powerful, and the coloring is spectacular.

However, the biggest cat I've ever seen was a lion named 'tuffy, at a local zoo. It was at least as large as the resident Siberian tigers, and made me question the common conclusions of the day that the tiger is the biggest cat. Tuffy was shot by zoo keepers because it got hold of an adult 6 year old siberian in a fatal grip.

in most of these photos they are adult tigers and young lions and when there is a full grown lion the tiger is closer to the camera giving the illusion that it is some what bigger when you get both animal side by side or face to face both fully grown not little baby lions ok then i will believe you dont get me wrong i love tigers they are awsome animals but you cant compare the two i dont know why anyone wants to se them fight in the first place

Minute 0:02, those two skulls and jaws are completely false; minute 0:14 a false picture is showed again; minute 0:40 that lion is very young. Conclusion: so fakes and so help for the tiger is because the lion is really bigger.

1st- the scull photos...is the same photo but in 2 positions...the tiger scull is a closer photo.

2nd- u compared a male tiger with a female lion and drowing their face

3rd- u covered lions head and didnt cover tigers head 0:11 and 4:13 u wanted tigers head to be biger

4th-i agree the tiger is larger than the lion , but still male lion has more possibilities to kill a male tiger , watch animal face off

@Illyiran animal face off isn't a reliable source because in an interview about the show one of the tec designers said that in that fight they had to make the lion win because if they had the tiger win(which he said most likely would have won) america wouldn't be happy because they favor lions when they have to fight things

I have seen siberian tigers up close and they are monsters, very big.....but when you touch them you can tell that their size is actually thick fur and fat....nevertheless they are enormous

Also we have seen ASIATIC LIONS ruling bengal and siberian tigers....an Asiatic Lion is less agresive and not as powerfull as African Lion and it still rules those tigers...now think what would happen if an African lion goes head to head with a tiger...or Lion clan VS Tiger clan...
