i was at the park a little over a month ago. it is pretty sweet. its sad it is going to be torn down. does anyone know when this movie is coming out? i heard sometime this summer. is that true?

After they filmed there for the movie, park was leveled. I live 15mins away from chippewa lake. Now they are building an resort in it's place. It's sad. My friends and I used to sneak back there to take photos for school. Then some stupid girl burnt down the ballroom. No one was allowed in there after that.

I was just there yesterday 3/22/09 and everything is still there. The only thing that's leveled is all the trees which made it great to see everything. You could see the lake from the entrance!

While the use of an abandon park makes for a great location, the quality of the film looks to be low par. Tis a shame. The cinematography and editing is poor on this, should look at reshooting it.

I think the idea is great to use old Chippewa Lake Park in this movie, and having been there once myself it's an awful creepy place to walk around. But I have to be honest...this movie looks pretty cheap and lame to me. Again, the setting is awesome all by itself. Especially seeing the old caboose and ferris wheel on film when you know this place actually exists.  But the clown people and the extra thihgs they added to the park look too bright and clean. Sorry, it's the truth.

this doesnt look like the kind of movie i'll see but i used to walk around in the park with my friends in the summer. i always thought it was kind of creepy. i guess i'll see this movie just because it was filmed at this park.
