Blues Deluxe was a reworking of Buddy Guy's "Stone Crazy" and BB King's "Gambler's Blues" That is were Rod and Jeff got it from. Before Rod joined The Jeff Beck Group he recorded the song as "Stone Crazy" with "Aynsley Dunbar's Retaliation" wich featured Jack Bruce on bass and Peter Green on guitar along with Aynsley on drums (now that's a band)
I was at this concert, and have been in a bluesy/rocky DAZE ever since. This guy smokes everyone I've ever heard on guitar. In fact, he's so good I think he came from somewhere other than Earth! GREAT VIDEO!
TADA!!!!! We have a winner!!! I wondered how long it would take someone to spot that!!!! Congratulations!!! This video has been viewed 926 times and YOU are the first person to have caught that!!! (Besides ME, of course). I never saw it while I was filming, but sure did once I got home and downloaded it. A moment of levity in such a brilliantly beautiful and HEAVY song. :) Libby
My god Libby this and other vids of Joe are OMG mind blowing I can't even type while taking him in!!! Thank You! Thank you JOE
