this was a great idea, but full of inaccurate information, starting with Oscar John Cooper, the colors Jesus wore, that the founders had degrees on Nov. 17,1911, that OPP is the first fraternity for undergraduates, that this bruh can take 15 minutes of sleep and it is the same as sleeping for hours (oh really damn),like i said needed and appreciated but next time slow down the speed of speech and please EDIT.

In 1907 Alphas second chapter was at Howard(HBCU) while Omegas were still trying to find founders. 1908 at Virgina Union(HBCU) gamma chapter was born. In 1912 when Omegas were still in pampers Lincoln and Wilberforce chapters were founded. Know your history son.

That information is correct. Yes, Frat was already there, but you guys are talking about two totally different things. Beta had been charted @ HU, but Que was founded there.

In 1906 Alpha Phi Alpha was founded...yes but not on a HBCU. Though Beta Chapter was the second part of APA it still wasn't founded it had already been established so therefore it was considered chartered. Before YOU post please read and listen carefully so you want look like an ASS!!!!!

The fraternity is a network system that black people had to create for themselves becuase they were being deprived of networking oppurtunities by whites. These organization historically have put in alot of work in the black community. The sad thing to know is that alot of the black churches lacked the network system to address racism so as a result we created organizations to uplift ourselves
