vow! what a rendering! Divine! Though the usual version we hear is in raga Shyama, he composed it in Charukesi giving a completely different flavor to the raga. Being his disciple I know him closely. He is the gem of a person and very humble. He did my son's vidyarambham more than 20 years ago. On that day while I was waiting in his hall with my wife, daughter and son, he came and started pushing the big sofa himself to make more space! I stopped him in the middle and did it. That is Dr. BMK!

Here is what I have to say as an atheist and a person who is prepared to judge.

Dr. BMK's singing makes me question my atheism. His singing is divine -- it shows what humans can achieve when they are at their best. In other words this is how gods must sing. There is a sense of perfection, beauty, mathematical exactitude and artistic passion all combined in one sweet rendition.

The rest that people say about him are just rumors and they say more about the rumor monger than Dr. BMK.

I feel that you tube is a place to enjoy the feel of music and Balamuraliji is a gem which we have in our generation.. Enjoy the music and dont criticize an wonderful artist like him.. And plz leave their personal and private life out of this.. You have no rights to talk about other's morality and values.. Musical greats like Dr BMK come rare, may be once in a century. No one can come close to him in vidwat or creativity. He is a true son of Goddess Saraswati. We are fortunate to live in times when he is alive and still doing great work. We will never be able to see another genius like him.
