You're right, I'm not doing it for the cash.

You can use ogre arrows or brutal arrows (bronze-rune) and the ogre bow or ogre comp bow. That's all if you want the kills to count.

You use your bow to check the kill. It has to be an Ogre bow or Comp ogre bow. Right click it and you will see the option.

well i got 4122 kills, and i did mine near rantz...ive never tried over there...but when i get to it i can get them hell fast, i also did mine with a normal ogre bow and 1 bellow, and i still powered through it. i plan on going to 5000 even tho there's no point, but meh.

Ogre bow and ogre composite bow are all you can use to kill it I THINK. I THINK you need to kill it with the ogre bow for it to count the kill, but I haven't tried other bows.

Killing 4,000 with the Ogre Bow or Ogre Composite Bow will get you a completely useless hat. :p

There are hats for less kills but the coolest looking one is probably the one that you need to kill 4,000 to get (the 4,000 kill hat is the highest you can get). A lot of people think it's worthless, but some find the cool looking hat... well cool. ^_^

Location is great, it's what I used to get 3500 kills, but as an expert hunter I suggest using 2 bellows and lining the toads up starting at the plant heading east in the area you were standing at 1:12. 6-9 toads there will have the bird dropping like bricks. 60-70 range helps also. 4k kills, only 1 bird got away. But that's because I didn't see em...
