  • yeaaa, those houses shown in the beggining aren't scary looking at alll.... o_0 kansas is mad weirdd ;p

  • that funnel is rotating like a bitch

  • Grizzo all your tornado/storm footage is g8!

  • I live in Kansas.

You guys can chase those tornados all you want, and we'll just sit on our front porch and watch you guys.

  • This reminds me of the Wizard of Oz

  • Nice!5*s!

  • Awesome!! Great catch! I missed out on these amazing late May days in 2008. But we redeemed ourselves a bit in 09'. Congrats on an excellent catch once again.

  • Thanks alot. Yeah, this was probably our best two days of chasing ever! One of my favorite trips.

  • i want to eat that

  • @bapyou maybe wind is making the car shake?

  • what causes it? the same reason a tornado forms.just on water...............:)

  • A water spout ... is a tornado that forms over the water or ends up going on it ( land to sea , lake , river )

you can find more info on google or by looking at videos on here

  • It's SO Thin That It Looks Harmless,But Here In Indiana there Doesn't Seem To Be Much But thunderstorms..Thats All And Will Someone Just Please Tell Me What Does a WaterSpout do?Can It Harm You,And what Does it Do If it Ends Up On Land? How Do They Form In The Water,What CAUSES it? I Need these Answers PleaseAnd from what i've seen on the internet they Look Just Like Tornados But On Water! Is It in the same category?

  • how far away is it really?

  • I would guess maybe a mile or so.

  • @Nynnemp use thunder and lighning near it, once you see lightning, count how many seconds go by before thunder, 1 second = 1 mile :)

  • @hi5534 Every 5 seconds is 1 mile

  • XD it wants to touch so bad!

  • Good video. Hope you got some stills on that storm. I like the shot you have looking right down the rainfree section of the storm. I got one with almost that same angle with a storm in Mayfield Oklahoma. The other nice shot is toward the end with the tornado and the rainshaft to its right. Love the way the inflow dust comes speeding in towards the tornado, that was awesome. I need to get this video on my Tornadical Action blog. I saw my first tornadoes on May 22 2008. Awesome chase week. Luv it!

  • i will never see a tornado in real life like in the flesh becuase i live in fort waqne indiana and i don't want to i can get scared like my dong of thunder andd lightning at night espillaly.

  • your dick hates thunder

  • I'm pretty sure tornadoes are fairly common in Indiana.

  • dust devil... not that impressive :-|

  • This has a condensation funnel comes down from a thunderstorm. Dust devils don't have those.

  • nope, you are wrong.... its a dust devil.

  • Dust devils don't spawn from storm clouds ya fuck

  • thanks - now we have to picture you looking and acting just like that, jess--why else would you say it?

  • bet you don't say that shit to someones face

  • you just lost a bet you fucking loser.... now shut the fuck up before i shut your dumb fat small penis ass up PERMANENTLY

  • *sigh* you're not real and you're still not going to do anything so just quit while you're ahead. Nobody is on your side here so maybe you should just be quiet and cry in the corner.

  • Dust devil don't descend from thunderstorms. The for on clear days from convection currents.

8:0t shows an obvious funnel that reaches all the way up into the thunderstorm. That does not happen with dust devil.

  • not every one can afford a tornado proof house dick and tornados are beautiful except the huge ass ones that are too big to watch those just piss me off. you can't fit the whole thing in the camera lense and shit and if you do your too far away.

  • "this is the 2nd time today that you've had to seek shelter" god that would suck lol

  • if you get sucked up my a tonado where do u end up? where do u get sucked up TO?

  • you go flieng in the clouds and u fall through and splat might die possable living but broken bones

  • Contrary to popular belief, you don't get sucked up at all. The rotating winds just pick up debris and fling them everywhere, and that's the main reason tornadoes are deadly, because pieces of a house flying around at 200MPH can seriously hurt someone.

  • You go airborne for a little bit before being either dropped or thrown out of the tornado.

  • I think its funny that the bird is chirping away like nothing is going on at all....

    D:

  • you know ive been chasing tornadoes for 2 years now and all i hear are how evil and bad they are.well here is some 411....if you don't wnt to be hit by a tornado move to hawaii. and those who live in tornado alley in thier mobile homes ....you are stupid..yes stupid...you know you have a high chance to get hit but instead of building a place that could withstand a moderate tornado you live in a mobile home....holding your dog in 1 hand and a fryin pan in the other for the tv.

  • Yes, tornadoes can be deadly, but they can also be amazing. Plus, with today's technology in weather, we can warn people ahead of time. Think about the settlers way back..

  • I think tornadoes are both disastrous and ''beautiful''.

  • Tornadoes are deadly, but when you look at the storm from far away, it is amazingly beautiful, what it does is not beautiful, but the way it looks is just amazing, it's like Heaven and Hell colliding, it brings emotions you can't even fathom. It's like somthing otherworldly!

  • 7:56 is beautiful!

  • Love it - Aaron tippin's "Ain't nothin' wrong with the radio" chorus line "dual antennas whippin' in the wind" in the beginning of the clip....how appropriate for tornado chasing!

  • And apparently even less of one watching videos of it, right?

  • Then you must not know the incredible feeling that occurs when you are there near it, watching it.

It is a hobby for some, a job for others. It gives life in many people as well as death.

  • maybe he'll make you pregnant

  • you have no life if you judge others

  • may 22 is my birth day....

  • Quite the tornado! Formed on the back end of the thunderstorm, as it usually does.

You can tell by looking at the rain shafts ahead of it, which is why most can never see a tornado coming, even during the day.

At times, it looked pretty rain-wrapped itself, which is rare.

  • sweet. pretty small, but it was kool seein the clouds form the tornado

  • mmmmm Aaron Tippen....good tune.

  • *.* WOW i love Tornados! i will that real see but.. :D comming not!

  • whooo goood job you guys were close

  • Thank you.

  • oh man, that was supperb... holy crap.Btw,how dangerous can a waterspout realy get? Can it be deadly ? Also,i saw a footage of a person sucked in a tornadoe (Formed right in front of them or something like that)...u know where to find it? It was on NGC (national geographic channel) i think...

  • Truly a beautiful Tornado, a rare sight too with it's exceptionally thin and long funnel. Lucky bastards ;)

  • Only about 10 miles away from me. I remember that one.

  • AWESOME!!! Amazing footage from an incredible day! 5/5

  • How many tornados a month would there be in Kansas would you say?

  • it depends on the month, may-june prolly 15 a month or so, they slow down after and before that

  • WOW!Good job,dude!

  • c'est très intéressant!

  • Nice capture and awesome lighting.

  • Thanks for comments and thanks for watching

  • Awesome footage, too bad something so beautiful can be so deadly.
