  • It isn't wrong to question god. The answer to the question by the way is that he doesn't exist.

There is zero evidence for the existence of god. No-one has EVER been able to provide evidence and never will which is why 'faith' is required... go figure.

  • Thanks for commenting. I agree with you that I cannot "prove" the existence of God. However, for me, I simply need to look up at the numberless stars, and look around at an indescribable planet, and witness the awesome power demonstrated by weather (i.e., an over 2000-mile snowstorm that crippled the midwest), and the only logical conclusion I can come to is that there had to be intelligent design behind all of this. I chose to believe and accept God's Word (the Bible) as an explanation.

  • @mikefrommilwaukee "I simply need to look up at the numberless stars, and look around at an indescribable planet" - Just because you find something incredible doesn't mean it was made by a god. Please learn about cosmology and evolution.

If you showed a cigarette lighter to an isolated simple tribe then they would think it was magic as they would be in awe at its ability to create fire. You are the same... you can't comprehend something so you think it's "magic". Time to educate yourself.

  • @cakeisnotanumber I guess you're right in saying that just because something is incredible does not necessarily mean that it must have been made by God. But for me, I can come up with no other viable answer for the world we live in, the universe, etc., other than an intelligent design made by an Almighty God. However, it does seem that your analogy of "a cigarette lighter" is a pretty big stretch to compare with the actual universe, and falls pretty short. Anyway, thanks for your comments.

  • @mikefrommilwaukee Problem is---"god" is not an answer for it has no explanatory power. It substitutes a mystery with a still bigger mystery by making the broadest and crudest speculations for gaps in knowledge. It;s far better (and more intellectually honest) to say... "I don't know".

And frankly you don't know and neither does anyone else despite preaching pretensions, speculations and faith as if they were truth and certainty.
