I have a question about guinea pigs...does your guinea pig ever bite you??? And if I got one, would I have to wear gloves on my hands like I would have to do with hamsters??

@Main94 No but the first few days dont really bother it then after the few days past start calling its name in a cheerful voice and make it feel welcome. And dont pet it around its rump because it will most likely bite you.

@MrDarikan Maybe make a clicking noise with your mouth or say their name in a cheerful voice. And if they do come to you when you do that give them a little treat like a cucumber,carrot,green pepper,and an apple slice cuz those were my guinea pig's favorite treats

@gerbilhelpchannel Yeah my guinea pig ashly loved to go in that hammock of hers. I think all guinea pigs would love it. All u need to do is just hook it up and they will love it! Its best 2 put it in front of a sunny window because that will make them go in it a lot cause they love to sun bathe. =) Glad i could help u

Hey there, I just adopted two 4-month old guinea pigs. Can they eat orange peels or should I peel them first? I was told that they needed vitamin C supplements OR orange slices, so yeah..

@jwsman15 i have 6 giunea pigs. i peel the oranges first or they wont even touch them. i havent been told not to give the peel to them but on the safe side dont give it to them. they do need vitamin-c but not to much at one time. do not give them the treats that claim to be for guinea pigs. they can get it in romain lettice, parcley, etc. it all depends on what yours likes. they can get it from the giunea pig food that you can buy at walmart.
