@Tobi8010 Thanks, I spent ages just getting him used to me , touching him & treating him so he knows me, so this really helped with him letting me mount him .. let shope the rest goes smoothly

hey hey! Get some lunging with the saddle and bridle on him and you'll be backing him into riding by July fo' sure :) just be careful when you get on him and give him a nudge with your feet- theres a possiblity he might go shooting forward (had that happen before!) so do some groundwork with putting pressure on his sides so he gets used to it etc :) Oh he is such a beauty :) I love his beautiful mane x so lucky you are :P x

@Squaccy1 Thanks, yes im doing lots of desensitizing from the ground using approach retreat & rewards, im jumping up his side & generally getting him used to me!! getting him to lower his head or turn his head & things ... need to work more on lunging but working on saddling .. But my riding time for the others is reduced as im spending lots of time with him .. just getting him used to everyday routines .. leading, grooming, picking up feet, showering .. list goes on!

@poolsproperty ah so much to do! Thats the problem with having too many horses and why you should send one to me yes?! :) Its just like having a baby isn't it! I have a job interview tomorrow so if i get it I'll be starting up the foal fund! I found an adorable cob-ling (6 months old) £450, to make 15hh...i wanted him SO bad but no monies :( x
