Lead balloon...funny in places but I can't believe it has stretched to 3 series. There's not much to it...same locations and 2d characters...repetitive jokes...xenophobic prejudice. Every episode has, like, 2 jokes which are repeated over and over.

And the unfunny half jokes, like when they rehearse in the living room EVERY EPISODE, and the ones written on post it notes...this is the problem with comedy writers writing about a comedy writer.

graham6419, yes the theme to lead balloon is similar to that of the office but both themes suit their programs well, they are both moderately slow peices which suit the mood. you wouldnt have a techno or a heavy metal song to open lead balloon because it would not fit.

Yes it is fairly similar to "Celebrity Skin" but, to be honest, it's no more derivative than most pop music is... whether or not the song writer had "Celebrity Skin" in mind we shall never know... There are only so many riffs and chord changes out there, it could be quite by accident. I've certainly written music and realised afterwards that it's very similar to something else.
