@WaddleDee105 I Like Rick the Hamster. He's So cool since he uses kirby for attacks and he can run up walls. Also, all the animal buddys in this game are playable characters in Kirby 64... Sort of. If you get Stone/Cutter Ability ,it will take the forms of the buddies and will Have there abilities as well. Nago and Rick are the most useful, in my opinion, anyway.

I like how Pitch's ability was to "make copy abilities better," but in almost every case (i.e. not Spark) he actually made the abilities more difficult to use. Silly Nintendo... At least he redeemed himself a bit by being the best Stone + Cutter carving in Kirby 64.

I just got this game on the virtual console! I loved playing Kirby's Dream Land 2 back when it was on Game Boy. Rick, Coo, and Kine are so cool!

personally I thought it was a bit slow... I.E. the only time you'll ever be moving quickly is with the fish, who can't jump for shit; kirby himself (as well as all of his animal friends) are very slow most of the time. Thus you encounter the preoblem that the game DRAGS ON. Additionally, the attacks that you have are rather lackluster; they feel like utilities from stage to stage as opposed to true powerups (or at least compared to Kirby 64 or Kirby Squeak Squad).

@Breludicolo Uhm... if you double tap the direction you want to go, kirby breaks out in a run. I'm pretty sure its as fast or faster than the fish. This is the case with a lot of Kirby games after this one as well.

the show and the game are very different. in the show kirby is a baby while in the game, he is not. In the games, meta knight has wings. Also, kirby could kick anybodys ass in WAY less then 25 minutes. there is way more as well, but I don't feel like saying them

Yes, Kirby is a baby. At first sakurai wasn't sure if he was a boy or girl or what age but as kirby developed he finally gave kirby his gender as male an then in a conference he stated that it was hinted that kirby was a baby and watched closely on the development of the anime so if they said he was a baby then hes a baby or else sakuria would have said something don't you think. I think kirby is a baby in everything because he was designed as a baby OK.

It's because HAL wanted the game to be the last traditional Kirby's Dream Land game that uses the powers since Kirby's Adventure and Dream Land only had these powers (broom is a newer one).

And FYI, HAL Laboratory created this game, Nintendo published it.

actually the only setting is optional, change the video screen size so you can IM, e-mail, get codes and stuff
