  • Do NOT use your money on a Dyson....I have a horrible experience with them. Buy a Miele if you want something that works.

  • @egj1975 i find vax mach range very good for money, mukti cyclonic and robust. on our 2nd vax, previous vax was a swift turbo and had it for 6 years and 5 month then the motor went. our current is a mach xp reach, the suction is superb

  • A disgrace to the original

  • Best version of "Only Shallow" i've ever heard.

  • i wanter know how did a dyson died an a Sanyo didnt at my house. we have really thick woolie carpets that some how killed as $600 vacumm & the sanyo only cost $200

  • pro vs con

  • If you've noticed the video from the start. it start slow.. even if it's capable of starting right away... dyson designed the vacuu's IC board to start slowly for some millisecond thingy. lol, so as to keep the fuses or breakers from tripping.

brilliant.. try looking at it on dyson's website... so many things dyson added unto their vacs.. even a speaker that plays beeps and tones to send info via telephone to dyson... much like a dial up modem sound...

  • @kkjgg112391 Really? A speaker to send information via telephone to the Dyson? Because the fucking button isn't good enough? Sure, I mean if the vacuum doesn't do its job to start with, why not bury people with more useless shit? Dyson Telephone Vacuum, $700.

  • i im getting one but pepole say on youtube that thay don't work and suck

  • i bet they suck

  • LOL Saying a Dyson sucks is actually good... Cuz that's what a vacuum cleaner should do! :P

  • they do suck big time, ill give you some prespective, a vacuum is a home maintenance system, just like your washer, dryer, fridge and stove, let me ask you , would you buy a plastic fridge or washer? lol didnt think so, buy a kirby and save urself the trouble,

  • I've used a Hyla, and it's nothing special. The Rainbow E2 is 10 times better. Sure, the Wessel-Werk P/N is good, but the machine itself felt cheap and put out a racket like a shop vac. At least it uses a separator and has a decent water capacity, but no thanks.

  • yes, it is loud, but they offer a noise reducer. I'm sure they're both good in their own ways. But from what I've heard, the Rainbow still uses a HEPA that costs $60 which Rexair automatically charges you each month. Those are the words coming from a Hyla rep. SO don't hate me if it's not the case. The Hyla is a buy it once and that's it system. What else makes the E2 10x better? I'm curious. I haven't bought a Hyla yet... just got a nice demo and was impressed.

  • @fetymann Hyla's suck, are gunky, and water is STUPID!!

It will cake the dirt on and mold will grow.

People, if you want a QUALITY vacuum, go with Dyson, Sebo, or Miele.

    Peace!

  • what's wrong with cleaning it? the fact that the dust is trapped by the water makes more sense than a filter that loses it's efficiency quickly. People have been using Rainbows forever and are happy with them.

  • It's a messy business, and it has to be done EVERYTIME you use it!

It's time consuming and inefficient. Besides, even with a FULL BAG, a Miele still has PLENTY of suction - probably as much as a Hyla or Rainbow, and I'm nearly sure as much if not MORE suction than either of those with an empty bag.

It's just funny that Rainbows and Hylas STILL need HEPA filters after the whole "water's BEST!" scheme. They're eating their own words.

Finally, mold WILL grow inside these machines!

  • Last time I checked Hylas don't have any filters. They have a separator which is not considered a filter.

anyway, I'm now looking into a Thermax AF2, people say it's better than any other now.

  • I was JUST about to bring that up. The Thermax AF2 utilizes a MUCH better water-filtering design - AND other fitlers - to give you MUCH better performance.

  • I didn't know about Miele till I spent time in Europe.

These are the canister ones with the smiley face, right?

I have to admit, 30 yrs of rebuilding vacs, I do like my Dyson in the US.

  • No, the canisters with the smiley faces are Numatics - most commonly Numatic Henrys :P

Dysons seem like VERY nice vacuums, however, and I would *VERY* much like to own one haha B)

  • Thanks for the note.

I like my quiet Dyson DC18. These were short term model that were upgraded to the Animal series with more attachments for stairs & couches.

But the cool part, they sell these at 200 off now. And for the most part it's the same machine body, filter can, basic attachments, etc. I'd get a 2nd unit in a heartbeat.

  • @FeeLtheHertZ Couldn't agree more! haha... my dyson dc 23's been okay for the last 8 months... still very powerful and money's worth it indeed.

  • @Philscbx The ones with the smiley face are actully called Numatic

  • @Philscbx the smiley face ones are Henery! :)

  • Found out that this is the Japan-exclusive DC12, with 6 high-efficiency cyclones...

  • Thre are 12 of em.There inside.

  • Is this a prototype of some sort? I can't seem to find it on the Dyson Japan website. Interesting that I see only 4 or 5 high-efficiency cyclones (can't really tell) instead of the usual 8.

  • Shit, that's awesome, the DDM in action! Wish I had seen this earlier. Sounds a lot different than I expected, I thought it would sound similar to the switched-reluctance Rainbow "Hurricane" motor in the current E-series. This makes me more excited for the DC22 to debut next month...

  • i think you`ll find that the 22 will not have a ddm motor fitted but a ydk

  • that model is not intended for the uk and it has a smaller version of the airblade motor

  • dyson hoovers are good...

  • That Sound is simler to da airblade
