I know this Mario Paint since it came out and now that I've gotten much better at MPC I simply HAVE to ask you this.

Normally I don't like making songs that have already been done, but I'd like to try my hand at remaking this with the original soundset.

However, I don't want to get in conflict with you in any way, so I want to ask you first. I you mind me remaking this with the same soundset, I definitely won't do.

So... What do you say? I simply don't want you to take that comp as an insult.

This was well done. it is a beautiful song, and something isn't quite right, which you CAN notice playing the game so much the song gets stuck in your head, but still the most valiant effort to pay homage to a song i've see on Youtube yet.

If I may throw in some constructive criticism.

I'm quite fond of what you've done here, I used to sit around and listen to this song for hours just because I am mesmerized by it. Around the first 30 seconds where you have Marios doing the main melody, I'd have switched Boos into their place. I think it just sounds more true to the original. I'd have also inverted your use of Boos and Shy Guys entirely. I am not trying to be rude, it is just my opinion, and you still get 5 STARS so yay for you!!!

Best soundtrack in the game in my opinion? I've had 13 years, like most people, to think about it :) I think this could be the best game in the past 15 years. in terms of originality, soundtrack, and most importantly, its revelutionary gameplay. 3D graphics, the first good stuff, and it being one of 2 games released with the N64.... epic win.

You truly did this piece justice here. I love the relaxation effect it has in-game, and that was faithfully recreated here. Boo, Shyguy, and Coin were all needed for it to really work, and Piranha Plant added a touch of electric guitar that didn't sound out of place. I especially loved the Heart+Coin combo for the electric piano sound, it was enchanting.
