Yes, Air Cadets eventually do lead to the Air Force, so I will likely take up that opportunity when it comes in a few years. My dream is to fly the 777-300ER, it's my favorite plane. I flew the route form Toronto to Frankfurt this summer, it was great.

Haha ya, I just like the Extended Range part, not that it matters that much, just on the destination I guess depending on distance. Still beautiful plane, definitely my favorite. If you get the chance watch my video of the landing we did into Frankfurt main, it was amazing weather.

i concur, u have to serve for a number of years, and its unbelievably hard to get accept, you have to have 20/20 vision, extremly good grades, good health, and no pre-existing conditon....so basically, there looking for the PERFECT human speciman to join the air force, i wouldnt reccomend it.....at all.

Its a bit different now, I have been a commercial pilot for some time now, you dont need 20/20 vision, you need to have eye vision corrected to 20/20. So glasses work fine, as for grades, well you need to pass all of them. Either you go to college and you start up or you do it privately. No one is perfect in this world, neither am I, and one cant require all those at once or there would be no pilots.

Air Canada does not own a A380 or plan to have one- they instead have signed for 787's from Boeing. They currently have A340's, A330's, A320's, Boeing 767s, and 777s. There Jazz fleet is a whole different list :D. FLY AIR CANADA!!!

I think Fokker had a stake in Airbus at some point, but I'm not sure..
