  • Beautiful Horses!

  • Comment removed

  • Why does everyone like shout and scream at the horses? It must be so off putting and runs a risk of spooking the horses. Surely the audience must know that?

  • @xXfillyfoalXx Arabian show horses especially our halter and English horses strive for the audience to cheer them on, they are very smart animals and love and feed off the sounds of the audiences screams and cheers.

  • @xXfillyfoalXx Vote for Pharoahs Ransom black arabian stallion, entered in contest for Worlds Most Beautiful Horse go to MIdwest Horse Fair website to vote

  • Why does everyone says arabian horses are nervous? I rode some of them, and they were awesome! (we had a fun race on the beach x3) But they "work" every day. If you let a horse in the stable for 2 days, it´s normal that they want to run fast^^ or faster

  • I owned a black arabian stallion and he was the most well behaved stud you'd ever met. R.I.P Zaire. He was 4 years old and was killed.

  • I love arabians, my warmblood mare is bred to one for next year =) its actually amazing how you can recognize the Magnum Psyche offspring! I love that stallion and his babys =D

  • Arabian horses are not my favourite type of horses, but these stallions truly are beautifull! Though, I would never even think of riding one.. they are so nervous.

  • @MisCat24 You really should consider riding one once. Nervous is a mis conception. They are known to be high spirited but they are not dangerous.

  • @MisCat24 you should ride one atleast once. They are wonderful animals

  • Wow, they are really pretty.

But I'm inexperienced with horses. Are they supposed to stand like that, with their hind feet "thrust out" behind them?

  • Arabians ARE the SMARTEST breed. People who argue that are just not good horse people they would rather bully a horse into doing what they want. Than working with a horse to form a relationship. ppl just don't get it ..so sad. maybe if they don't like it they should not watch arab halter on youtube. bc their stupidity ruins it for the rest of us.

  • i love the greys

  • Beautiful animals, but they're as fragile as glass.

  • whats with all the monkey sound in the background.... !!!!!

  • The monkey noises are encouragement and approval. Like saying "hey judge, That is your winner"!

  • why was he abusing that horse tugging on its halter like that.

  • That was showing it's figure. Stupid internet people.

  • I couldn't understand the announcer, but the sorrel with the big blaze and all the leg amrkings kinda reminded me of Khemosabi a little.

  • Arabs are my favorite horses! These horses are hot naturally and some become worse with the excessive facial jerking. None were horrible in this vid, but there was a few.

  • their necks are not long at all. warmbloods, esp. holsteiners have long necks- without the artificial and abusive stretching achieved by jerking on their faces with stud chains. such an artificial look- i don't get it. arabs have to have their own shows b/c they do their own "interpretations" of traditional disciplines.

  • @faustina44 excuse me but the ARABIAN IS THE ORIGINAL AND OLDEST BREED ! how can they copy or interpret that which they are the original of ?

and its not abusive , they are jerked when the act up as all other breeds are . its something they are naturally capable of . and like jumpers or etc they have there own shows , big freackin deal . Get your facts straight before commenting on stuff you don't know about .

  • @faustina44 Almost every breed has their own shows, put on by their respective association, not just arabians.

  • I liked the one with the 4 white socks & the blaze..He reminded me of Khemosabi

  • these r my favorite horses!!! they r so beautiful! O_~

  • Glad they are doing away with the hard stance. The grey looked ready to flip over backwards if that chain touched his chin one more time!

  • thanks for posting, the grey at the start was just a dream!!

  • prachtig , great horses

  • Love it!

  • gosh, so pretty

  • Everyone has the right 2 feel & believe what they want but u should know the subject matter.

I grew up around horses & seen the "running around on a range & not having 2 deal w/ridiculous humans." Some r taken care of but others r malnourished feet problems & lack love.

Arabian history. Known 4 extreme companionship w/humans lived in owners tents.

Not all have great lives & r taken care of but I defend the Arabian show horses. Rules from Assocs. & USEF r 2 protect the animals.

  • I agree so much with you ^^

Just had to say that lol.

  • blah blah blah go hug a tree hippy, there are some terrible cases of animal cruelty out there, these arabs are treated like living gold.

  • one word! beautiful!

  • wow that Magnum Psyche one is so so stunning david boggs was right Magnum Psyche does pass on his quality and elegance and abilty to win

  • PLEASE contact your federal senators to pass the horse protection bill S-311 Congress will reconvene Tuesday September 4,2007 And this needs to be passed to stop the inhumane slaughter and transport of horses for human consumption, a big business now, meat goes to Europe

  • The arabian at 3:56 is gorgeous

  • that one is my fav too! such cute socks! C:

  • yeh =) =) i agree!! you dont see many horses with 4 socks =) that look kinda the same length =)

  • The grey arabian at 02:26 looks just like mine :)

  • Arabians are beautiful, but their dumber then a doornail...

  • Wow you must not know the Arab very well. I beg to differ with you but everyone has their own opinion.

  • georgeous horses!

  • You wouldn't believe what else they do for a "Better Look"...

  • OMG, that Horse is so beautiful

  • These horses are highly prized for their quality and potential races by Sheiks who own them

  • articuno,

Halter horses are RARELY able to do anything *truely* athletic. These shows (class A halter) are beauty contests from the belly up. Head, neck and top-line is the name of the game here. Club feet, over in the knees, straight shoulders and pasterns don't get you marked down. But they ARE a sight to see.

  • its a pity arab has come down to that....they can have ugly legs but peple still want to breed them....

  • Unfortunately, that's the "norm" across the board in all breeds....that "halter horses" are useless for anything other than standing there "looking pretty". The Quarter Horse industry has ruined their halter horses and now you can't hardly give them away and most don't live past 10 years. I miss the good ole days when you could halter a horse in the morning, put a western saddle on by noon and finish the day out in a huntseat saddle. Gone are the good all-around horses! Sad.

  • cksavoy,

Yes, it's rediculous what has become of QHs in the halter ring. They look like a Buick on bottle caps. And the thing that really toasts me is the HYPP issue. HYPP could be IRRADICATED, but NO! The "Impressive" horses are the ones who look like you put an air hose to them,so bloated and out of proportion are they, but they are the ones that 'win in the show ring'so God forbid we stop breeding/feeding these poor monsters.

  • I just read that they are putting a stop to registering horses that test positive for 2 copies of the HYPP gene and are requiring impressive related horses to be tested. Thats a start! (I just joined youtube yesterday)

  • Western style is my favorite! I love QH's.

  • What?? Alot of halter horses may do nothing else but stand around..but most live way past 10..where the heck did you hear that they only live to 10 years? cksavoy?? get your facts straight...their pretty bad off..but not THAT bad off..but i will agree that alot do go LAME within 10 years..

  • in response to going lame after 10 years (or less) that's the quarter horse halter horses, and yes, a fair few die before 10 years old because of people intentionally breeding them to 1)break down or 2) HYPP

  • they do it to get the horse to prick their ears forward for a better look

  • 1 thing I cant understand: why are people yelling like rabies monkeys on and on and on. The horses were a work of art, the public should have showed some less loud enthusiasm.

  • What beautiful horses!

  • Thanks so much for sharing! This is GREAT!
