actually, our group was formed because we were all participants in ricky lee's scriptwriting workshop (automatically making us part of writer's studio) and we eventually formed the group from our batch. it's not really a formal org. if you wanna join an org, there's IFC - but it is more of a cooperative where a lot of filmmaker's groups are involved.

if there is a film org in your college, it would be a great idea to join one. if there is none, then perhaps it's time you start one - just so you can foster a film community in your place. that's how most things start. find people who are as passionate and as enthusiastic about film. this would also help in decentralizing the film scene from manila. we need more regional filmmakers here in the phils.
