I'm a defensive player, so I look at your offensive tips and try to come up with ideas to combat this.

For this one, I would put put both arms up, and then when he fake swings the ball downwards I will only sweep ONE arm leaving the other arm still guarding the top of my head.

That should buy time.

hey coach most of my passes are intercepted because i make my passes too obviousness and i tend to just stare at the person im going to pass to. any suggestions?

@pm3975 Yes! Use the pass fakes and do not look directly art the person you are going to pass to. Use your peripheral vision instead. Hope you know what that is. If not look it up.

When i pass i just kinda jump shot but i dont shoot it i pass it so that my defender is not going to get the ball. i call it jumpass

@iPlayBball08 A jump pass, where you get into the air and then decide to pass often is aturn-over waiting to happen. When you get in the air things usually change and you end up turning the ball over! Never jump in the air and they decide to pass the ball.

Should mention the backdoor opportunities this can open. If a defender is overplaying a teamate a fake pass is a solid way to get a backdoor cut and layup

@eugenebw that's something we were planning for the future, but you basically use the mentality that you're going to fake one way and actually pass it the other when the defense reacts to the fake.
