iroquois & natives as a rule did not harm "the innocents"-& women/kids were adopted into tribe to strengthen it- unlike white soldiers (see wounded knee)who could not adopt native women/kids bc of racial prejudice not wanting to "darken" the white race- alcohol/drugs changed the nature of war for natives-harming a woman prisoner brought death penalty to a native man by his own tribe of matriarchy grandmothers judges

This narrator is pretty good. I have listen to a lot of professional audio book readers, and it is expecting a lot to think the volunteers would be of the quality of some world famous actor (some of whom do these), but this guy is pretty good, thanks.
