but to me chords in the left hand sounded a bit too bloodless, and a little bit too loud, too. Maybe it's just not possible on a keyboard to make it sound that dark and mystical as it is on a normal piano.

The Moonlight Sonata is a 3 piece movement. Difficulty varies quite a lot too. This piece that NightShader1 played is the first movement. The other 2 movements are rapid and very difficult.
