  • i bet you could provide great strength and conditioning strategies for baseball players for whom hand, wrist and forearm strength is so important.

  • amazing!!

it's very hard, i try it, congratulations!

  • I'v seen this done 35 years ago on tv it was interesting the guy clained to be the strongest man in the world, anyway back then I could pick up about a 100lb girl sitting on a chair with one hand by the botton of the back leg, by tipping it back and lifting, i could only get her off the ground a few feet could not balance her and the chair, I bet yoiu could do that and would like to see it done again, i cant anymore

  • Damn.

  • .. it looks easy, but I KNOW myself its not =)

    respect.

  • How long did it take for you to be able to lever it from the ground like that?

  • What's the name of the song you are playing? Can you tell me the name and artist?

  • Crazy Train, Ozzie.

    All the best!

  • There used to be an old-time strongman, can't remember his name, but the highlight of his shows was the amazing acts of leverage he performed with sledgehammers. I would suggest this fellow here should have a scale to show the weight of his sledgehammers before he does this.

  • Slim "The Hammerman" Farman, he can still lever a 24lb sledge easy at over 70.

  • slim can do a 34 pound sledge still he hasn't slowed down at all and he hasn't got weaker in any way

  • how do you get that strong? i ahve been lifting weights for 4 years, and i cant even come close to that. i went to your website and it says you will find training programs to attain that kind of strength, and i couldnt find any programs, just videos of you performing feats.

  • go to my store on my website.

    All the best,

    Scott

  • what's your best front leverage scott? i can leverage a 12lb. 32'' handle to my nose 3 times and small correction that most people wouldn't know is slim's best is 69 pounds between both hammers and i got that from dennis rogers so i'm sure it's true but still hard to believe!

  • From ground up and then all the way down to horizontal, It would be 12 pounds with a 32 inch handle. If I just lever it to my nose I can do a 20 pound hammer. That is not all the way to horizontal though so it really doesn't matter. If the handle does not reach a horizontal plane then it is not a full lever. partials are good for training but cannot be considered a PR.

  • Cool.

  • Wow man, I was scared when you actually did that stuff. That's amazing, you should be in like Guiness books, lol.

  • this is great and yes of course far from slim but he is and always will be the master of this feat the mighty atom couldn't even get it all the way up off the floor great job here

  • Amazing dedication to your training.

  • I can almost do that with my 16lb sledge hammer but I am like 270lbs.

  • with a 32 inch handle, that would be 512 lbs. That's awesome! My best is 12 lbs. So far. And I weigh 200 lbs. Slim the Hammer Man Farman did two 24 pound at the same time. We both have a ways to go! !!! Thanks for the comment!

  • Two 24lb hammers? Damn.... I would love to journy down that road. When is your on-line store gonna be up?

  • we are working on it. My training DVD we will be up first and then we are presenting the Iron Claw Challenge!! Stay tuned!!

  • pretty inpressive

  • That's a good feat of strength Scott. Far from the standards set by Slim Farman but since he specialised in this, it's an unfair comparison. You are a very good allrounder, congrats.

  • Your the strongest guy ive ever seen. Your like iron man or something

  • wow, ive tried this; its way harder than it looks.

  • hmmm...that looks difficult...im still impressed with the apple and phonebook...

  • STRONG! LIKE AN APE!

  • This feat doesn't impress me much, because I have no idea what is going on. It's not like your other ones where you're rolling up metal pans and such.

  • Well... if you have a 10 pound baby at home, make him hold onto a 2.5 foot pole and then lift him up like Scott does in the video. Other 10 pound things will do too.

  • The trick's problem is that I have to try it or have experience with balancing long sticks with weight on the end. The last time I ever had to balance anything, there was a guy named Wario ready to laugh at me if I screwed up.

  • haha i get it...i love that game!

    twisted?

  • scottie4266 (2 months ago)

If you really did it all the way to horizontal which is doubtful, then you are pretty strong. Put up a video of you doing it so that we'll all know that you are not all talk.

    Peace

lol people on youtube? All talk?! Unheard of!!! Lol welcome to most of the people on this site, they'll talk all kinds of shit till you tell them to put up or shut up. Great job man, that's truely impressive!

  • Thanks man. I'm glad you liked it.

    Peace

  • bad ass dude. send me a link with your training program.. i'd love to get a new strength routine,

  • hey cool hes a metal head GOOD MAN! hehe and omfg that was coool!

  • Off beat question, what's the song?

I'd try that but I don't trust my sledgehammer head to stay on...

  • song name is crazy train

  • Thanks man

  • i have the same problem but with a pickaxe...i'm deathly afraid of it

  • thts easy

  • lol, pro strong man? time to get a new profession I just went out side, first time trying it did it with a 12 pound hammer 32 inch handle

  • If you really did it all the way to horizontal which is doubtful, then you are pretty strong. Put up a video of you doing it so that we'll all know that you are not all talk.

    Peace

  • Oh this I would love to see, can you video tape it and put it up?

  • It is 320 lbs. when you hold it by the end of the handle. Thanks for the comment mate.

  • thats bloody impressive actually, how heavy is that sledge hammer my friend?

  • not as impressive to the common eye
