Can't you give him a break? Everyone else got cool magic items Stelor was using the bow gotten in the first level all the way to the beholder... and he was one of the three that survived!

@JimPlaysGames You know that bear in front of the cave? You use the key you got from the kobold on the bear and he transforms back. I think there's a hint ffrom Baba Yaga about this and also, like you said, he doesn't seem like an ordinary bear. Also you can use the lockpicks on yourself to "pick your nose" and improve your lockpicking skill lol

@Twiddybum ohhh, the bear is the Baron's son? I had no idea. I thought that key was for the Ogre's box. So I guess I left him to starve to death. That's kind of bad. Some hero Stelor is.

Also that nose picking trick is really silly.

Just finished watching the entire playlist over the past few days. Great entertainment, very funny in parts as I remembered encountering similar problems when I played it back then. The EGA version was even harder and more frustrating.

One question: the voice over of Baba Yaga and other major characters... was that you through a distorting device or did the game actually have this (as I don't remember it having spoken dialogue).

@dennistm thanks, glad you enjoyed it. This was a fun series to make. I have great difficulty with text parsers, which was my main reason for using the VGA version. Plus it looks nicer.

The voices for Baba Yaga and others were a combination of me doing a funny voice, plus some distortion effects added in with audio editing software.

I wonder if on that ending screen, you have some time to look at the various people there and get descriptions? I could be wrong, been so long since I played the game.
