Izzy wrote the majority of GNR's music (not lyrics) but music, I'm currently reading "Watch You Bleed" (GNR Biography). I wish I still had my Izzy CD "Shuffle It All". It was a great album, his solo stuff so makes me think of Keith Richards........

My brother bought this cd when it came out and hated, it so he gave it to me and I love it. I think he thought it was gonna sound like G-N-R but obviously it does not. I drank many a Budweiser to this song and cd. I don't drink anymore, but listening to this song sure makes me crave a brewski or two. Or three. I'm really glad to see so many recent comments on this - this album was so great, and I thought most people missed it. I didn't catch them live unfortunately, but I've seen Guns with Izzy and Georgia Satellites with Rick Richards. What a team these guys formed. @ILiveInYourShed I doubt anyone who gets as much royalties from Guns N' Roses as Izzy does could be classed as 'strugglin'. 11 solo albums and the one guy from Guns who has appeared with and is thanked in the sleeves of Adler's Appetite, Velvet Revolver and new GN'R. They all want him cos his songs are what made GN'R great. Plus his work with Mark Lanegan etc, I could go on. Black Crowes also begged him to join and he refused, as did New York Dolls and Aerosmith wanted him as a writer.
