  • My friend Matt Gokey skates for small school. Look him up and give him props

  • which are the best decks in your opinion

  • your awesome make more review videos

  • @planb1fan: of coarce they r

  • cock me

  • are freestyle boards real

  • of course theres no chips, you don't do anything but flatground, and freestyle

  • i cant buy any deck from tat site

  • look at the fuckin trucks

  • well that clears it up

  • yeah he usually skates plan bs for street

  • what kind of trucks r those

  • look at his choosing your board part 2 or part 1 in one of them he tells you i think its 2

  • They are seismic spring trucks

  • what do you mean by freestyle deck

  • smaller size than most standard street decks plus little to no steepness on the nose and tail and sometimes flattened ends to allow for freestyle tricks to be done easier

  • wats on your nose and tail

  • cum

  • haha

  • ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • can u do ollies and flip tricks on it

  • they look like enuf durocores

  • on a free style board can you ollie and stuff like that pretty much the same?

  • is it easier to do kickflips and stuff on a freestyle board or a standard 1?

  • standard

  • do freestyle boards use standerd trucks.

  • just got a new small school complete!

  • do u like think boards?

  • i'm just guessing, but do u like think boards? My Friend has a think board and it still has amazing pop after 1 year!

  • Well actually, most street tricks started as freestyle tricks, so you can do them, it's just probably a bit harder for some.

  • sounds like a good company im thinking about trying some freestyle

  • Nooo. You can still do street stuff on it. Think of it as a street deck is not a freestyle deck but a freestyle deck is a street deck.

  • wow a whole year !

my decks wear out in about 2 and a half months

hes really good and his board lasts forever =]

    thats a great accomplishment

  • are those the destructo trucks from small school?

  • Once again Aronl awesome review, you've helped me with alot of tricks and board building decisions...thanks

  • SS is easily my preferred company these days.

  • do u wanna b sponsored by struggled skateboards?

  • false.

  • Nice you got a Zyklun shirt on.

  • how is the concave on small schoold boards?

  • there's some, but it's fairly mild. it depends on the mold though. you can email them and ask for specifics.

  • k thanks

  • u should work at west 49

  • I want one of those boards sooooo badly.

  • what are the point to riser pads?

  • gets you up higher to prevent wheelbite and to prevent pressure cracks

  • the point of riser pads are protecting your deck. beacause the trucks are metal. if you land your skateboard without riser pads, your skateboard will break!

  • what kind of trucks are those??

  • small school is too confusing...

i dont know where to choose the deck i want, i created a paypal account and i dont know what to do now

and how do i order it

it just shows a picture of it...

    PLZZZZ HELP!

  • Just e-mail me. I used to have a shopping cart but since the order process is so personal (some people sedn me 30 or more e-mails before finalizing an order) it just didn't work. This is specilized equipment, no shop is going to be carrying it anytime soon. :P

  • ty. im looking for some freestyle trucks tho. i have furys that r 7.25(prefered width) but no1 else seems to carry short ones. ne suggestions?

  • Krux 3.0's or Destructo 4.5's, I use Tracker Racetracks (106mm{just under 7"}) but I have the axle nuts flipped and use alot of washers.

  • Nice video I love small school I get all my boards from Jeremy. Where did you et your uptrucks?

  • hook me up

    does he make 7.75 size?

  • You should see if you could get sponsored by better wheels and small school it would be sweet because i was looking on the better wheels site and there putting together a team

  • oh, ok thanks for the advice

  • thanks for the review, i was planning on getting a free style deck, now i now which to get, and where can you buy free style uptucks

  • you can't if you live in the US. I wouldn't suggest them anyway.

  • so u ride a mini!!

    I DO TO

    :D

  • nice man

  • whats that that lookslike tape on the tail and nose on ur board, aronl?

  • Grip tape, and/or the skids depending on which thing your talking about. They help with capers and minimize board damage.

  • is this a good deck to pop an do ledges?

  • sweet.

  • hey aron, where do i buy it and is this company trustworthy?

  • go to the site and send the guy an email about what you want. yeah, it's trustworthy

  • where did u get your other small skateboard

  • hey i live in texas, is small school local thing or can he like ship them to me?

i got a baker board and that not very good for free style is it?

and by custom boards do u mean the completes or just the deck?

  • I ship all over the world. The decks are what I offer as customizable which means the shape, size, dimensions, color, whether the deck has concave and double kicks or single and no concave, and your graphic choice is up to you. Just e-mail me it is really not as complicated as it sounds.

  • okay, i get how to choose my board and size, u told me in the e-mail u'll invoice me, what does that mean?

    like a recept or something?

  • this is not the place to be discussing your order, just e-mail me. :P

  • oh okay

  • sweet i think i need to get a board like that cause i just kill my nose and tail. so thanks man

  • nice

  • is it possible to get a grip tap with designs on it from a skate shop? I've never seen them in a shop but u got one? Any ideas on where to get some?

  • i just bought some paint markers and drew on it.

  • Chocolate, Baker sucks

  • yes, many people I know have them. They're great for street.

  • they are pretty good but they last 2 or 3 months so yeah.

  • i cant believe your not a partner yet!!!

  • looks like aronl is making some money... How well are these companies paying you?

Keep it up, your trick tips are the best there are.

  • I wish they were paying me, or even sponsoring me. But, alas, they are not.

  • aronl do you have like a home skatepark or those plastic or steel funboxes or like a portable quarter pipe or really anything portable or did you build a backyard skatepark, want to know but ya do ya and if so can you make a vid about what you got.

  • i've got a couple boxes, but none of that stuff.

  • your an idiot

  • why is he an idiot??

  • because only an idiot would post a comment like that. its sick and retarted.

  • blindseagulll you are the idiot

  • well you are the homo.

  • do you even know who i was talking to?

  • i dont know why but i hate min logos

  • i like mini logo. they're good

  • In freestyle, you need to be very precise in how the trucks line up with the deck for the sake of railstand stuff. The specific truck doesn't matter, but the size does.

  • it was actually a year AND six months.

  • Appreciate the review Aron! Happy skating!

    J.

  • 1:93? since when did seconds exceed 60?

  • since the begging of time. 1:93 is equal to 1 minute and 93 seconds which also equals 2 minutes 33 seconds. its just another way of wrighting it. its like writing 3(3+x)=9+3x

  • That would sound a lot better if you didn't spell "Writing" wrong.

    Get your Grammar correct.

    ...

  • Dude, heard of mistype? Go play with your action figures fag.

  • Yea that actually did not have anything to do with gramar.. Its called a typo.

  • yeah it will if you mess up

  • did you look up prices

  • noob jk XD XD

  • sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:93?

  • I have a small school deck. Jeremy Elder is great and their decks are high quality. Great review Aron.

  • lol you have the marc johnson tre flip nose manual poster...me too =)

  • Yep, it is a good review. And, yes, smallschools are pretty good price.

  • That is a THICK tail!

  • dude awesome review

    5/5

nest time im at the compound ill ask them to carry zyklun shirts

  • what are the things on the nose and tale??????

  • it protects the nose & tail from wear

  • They're things to stop you from getting razor tale when you manual...

  • Why are people always comparing someone to Rodney Mullen? He can't be beaten, and has nothing to prove whatsoever. He skates just for fun now!

I really feel people tend to forget that's what it's all about: skating for fun, instead of being so over-competative!

  • whats the website?

  • nice vid

  • thanks man. i started about 6.5 years ago.

  • is he sponsored by betterskateboarding wheels?

  • hey.... which style board did you order?????

  • I got a custom. it wasn't any of the preset styles.

  • hey aron love your vids have been subscribed for a while im making a tape right now is the clothing company your on any good cus i have entered 6 comps and place in 4 so comment me back

  • i know this is kinda off but i have heard that chocolate decks brake fast is that right?

  • do all freestly boards have same weight?

  • pretty much. any minor differences are pretty negligible.

  • have u eva had a darkstar

  • are girl decks good?

  • yea.

  • mine broke really quickly.

  • ya girl decks are good

  • do they ship to Germany?

  • I'm sure they do. Head on over to the site and send him an email about it.

  • Yeah, I think they do... But I bought my freestyle setup from little-wheels which is a German site :)

  • Little Wheels will be carrying small school decks soon (within a week), and they actually make the small school wheels. If you are in Germany you should buy from Skip at Little Wheels. :)

    J.

  • cool

  • there not stickers anymore he said

  • Freestyle board?

  • i have a decomposed now but i'll try small school next time i need something

  • yeah here in regina raining non stop

  • in houston it hasnt rained in like 4 months. i want some of your rain

  • lol

  • haha

  • i'll buy one of those as soon as i can. thanks for the review!

  • sweet

  • would u say that having a freestyle board is an advantage for freestyling? And ive heard that u can get in rotations in easier. Would that be like have a flip extra or what? Just wondering cuz im thinking about getting one sometime.

  • yeah, definitely. rotations and flips don't get a whole lot easier, but freestyle boards are a lot more stable in railstands, 50/50s, caspers and all that. It'll help quite a bit

  • haha yes. A freestyle board is an advantage in freestyling, just like technical boards are great for technical tricks.

Freestyle boards are flatter on the concave for easy grabbing and smaller and lighter.

  • nice

  • cool vid

  • qreat review. if i ever decide to try freestyle ill get one of these boards

  • 3rd view!!

but those decks sound really good

  • Nice review
