  • this man had bollocks going inside that siege

  • Rest in peace Macca.

  • I love that, just another day at the office mentality.

  • R.I.P to a legend.

  • I know im gonna get hammered for posting something like this here but.... whats the true story of bear grylls? some say he didn't serve in the regiment for as many years as he says.

  • @OSCARA320 i hear he was in 21st reserve sas regiment but after a para accident which messed his back up he had 18 months in and out of rehabilitation after that he climbed everest id make my assumptions he that he is a very mentally and physically tough key attributes for such a regiment.

  • is the game the regiment good?

  • @mrnormalnormal yes very good if your into SAS. it teaches you how to properly clear a room etc..

  • @simonking195 and what is with sas secure tomorrow? and in mw 1 cod 4 yiu can play sas too?is that "realistic"

  • @mrnormalnormal no they are arcade games, the regiment actually has some (if only minor) mechanics in it to make it difficult if you dont do what the training tells you to do

  • John is down to earth and tells it how it is.

  • John Mac= legend!

  • He's a bit like Captain Price when you think about it

  • Any man that can sport a tash like that, shouldn't be messed with in a pub.

  • lol freightned i bet they enjoyed it thats the kinda person u gotta be to be in the sas from what ive seen in these vids

  • LOL, they were more intrigued by the snooker game

  • i like how peoples thirsts for knowledge brings them to the SAS. the SAS do things we dont know about but we want to know... people are drawn to them.. its strange. keep up the good work lads... im one person who apresiates what you do for the good of britan and people around the world.

  • definately some sort of viking genetics there

  • Comment removed

  • UK,NZ,AU, are blatently all top notch.. over 30 years are you saying that the UK SAS have not refine any skills? :P

  • Comment removed

  • you just answered your own question "im not sas" so rele u dnt no for sure lol

  • Comment removed

  • sorry 2 here about his son.

  • @ballygeale1 rip

    uk/usaboy.

  • was not scared we was watching snooker what a legend

  • massive respect to captain macleese

  • I have so much respect for these guys... storming a building with terrorists taking cover inside with a crap load of hostages... and no fear...

It amazes me how people can become so well trained

  • armed police carry cs gas and truncheons only? what about special branch? hahah. obviously you dont know anything about anti terrorist teams so i suggest you shut your mouth as all ive seen you do is troll my videos running your mouth like you know a thing or two.. when clearly you dont little man.

  • @slanker786 man your on some hater shit they had guns they took innocent hostages on british soil ,,,,no cunt gets away with that ..arrest the poor little terrorist..cmon man get a grip the message they put out is ..do not bring trouble to our doorstep or you are a dead man

  • If you've read the reports on the seige properly.. .you'd know the terrorist on the stairs had a handgrenade in his hand, thats why he was shot, because he posed a viable threat

  • @slanker786 doesnt matter how well trained you are, arresting them is not an option. They are only called as a last resort, when a life has been taken already. Once thats happend, its over the terrorists will leave dead, and hopefully all the hostages alive.

  • @slanker786 They killed the guy in the embassy on the stairs because he had a grenade in his hand you stupid cunt.

  • @slanker786 The guy on the stairs had a grenade.

  • yeah price....

    -cpt.price-----john price

    -ex sas-------john mcaleese

  • yeah Price is based on this guy .

  • Wise words, from a great man.

  • I saw Bob Spour 's material on You tube and his fighting techniques- he looked pretty experienced to me and knew his stuff. Maybe The Regiment just wanted to shut him up as he was talking about their techniques etc too much! It's a secretive organisation and they don't want too much publicity.

  • This guy has been through a lot, all those years of SAS work, and now loosing his son.

On a side note, I think Captain Price and Capt. McMillan (from Price's flashback mission) were based off of John Macalesse.

  • yer i think that to

  • @ReDxFVR ye i agree

  • That was very well said

  • John Macaleese, His son Just died from the rifles due to the telibans new "stealth IED's with no metal in em apart from the detanator peice!!

  • exactly stupid ass thats why gas here is expensive and where still paying billions to the arabs. you are a disgrace to america for saying that. you are basically spitting on the graves of all the troops that died and are still fighting to insure the right that you can say stupid things like that.

  • "fredom is not free, but the us marine core will pay most of your share", oil is also not free, but the united states government will make sure they TAKE most of the western worlds share, then cover it up and call it "war on terror".

  • These are REAL men that you should stand up and RESPECT, unlike those so called politians that call themselves REAL men sending them to do some wetwork.

  • explane..

  • is it me or is he the spitting image of captain price

  • holy crap! your right

  • Cpt. Price was probley based on him

  • then they woud of had a socttich accent

  • he was

  • Exactly what i thought theyve set the character to look like him

  • @snatcherz2 he was the insparation for captain price

  • @snatcherz2 Its likey they based price on this man. And why not. He is an amazing individual.

  • I like how he said he never worries, I'd say with the training they went through nothing could ever affect them.

  • The Gray man.

  • its good to see him gettin to tell his story and get a bit of credit for all hes done, he deserves, as do all the lads in the sas

  • Two bad guys/TERRORISTS..Who a few moments before the sas entered the room shot at hostages..Killing one and injuring another.THEY GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED..BANG DEAD.Job done

  • HarryRoberts you talk some bollocks.

  • have you got some sort of point?

  • so terrorists have a right to life?

  • awsome man

  • haha wasnt frighetened, he was probably thinkn is steven hendry winning while killin em' lol .

  • Very good series of clips! But dang, what a glare in this one.

  • yeh my fault i recorded it differently than the others.

  • @simonking195 Very interesting

  • 1.(no dig here)only mi6 and cia are called operatives

2.you must serve at least 3 years, 60% are from p company, and 60 or so percent are scottish (im english btw)

    3. when they are retired they can show identity, its only people that do missions like andy mcnab keep it hidden, yet he has shown his.

    4. sladgeh go die a horrid death you fucking wanker If you ever knew anything about the history you know that when he says SAS are the best its true, they have trained all, e.g SAS SASR(aussie)

  • Couple of small corrections m8. It should say serve ay least 3 years regular forces which also includes the navy and airforce. No one does 3 years on P company as thats the Parachute regiments selection course which must be passed before starting parachute training. other point is SASR is not the Aussie SAS you could also have inclued NZ SAS but SASR is actually Territoral Army. hence the letter R for Reserve. We have 2 reserve units. 21 SAS and 23 SAS. Details are on the army website

  • Oz SAS are called SASR [Special Air Service Regiment]. 22nd has an R squadron [reserve squadron], on top of the TA 21st and 23rd.

  • i know p company 28 weeks so im unsure what you mean by no one does 2 years, maybe i referenced 3 yrs in paras as p company by mistake i guess, but thanks for the correction of info much welcomed

  • p company is two weeks at the end of basic - which is 26.

  • cheers, that info will help me

  • no it is week 27 and lasts a week the next week i tink is admin n shit like that

  • Exactly what I just said - 26 + 1 = 27 pmsl

  • my bad

  • Deal with them as you see fit. In other words riddle the fuckers to bits. Lol....

  • All of you stop whining like little girls its pathetic.

  • look at the comments page mate.. im not calling mac a prick lol.

my comment was a reply to someone else's

  • those are for the arsefanny sladgeh

  • Bla bla bla bla, I would take u and your boyfriend mac any day, one jab to the heart and thad b the of that old man, and u, i think anyone could see that your a sissy just by lookin at your stupid comments ha ha theboab, thenoab more like it

  • wonder what secrets they don't reveal in this video

  • you really are a fucking idiot , honestly....

  • not at all, its a truthful statement what i have written

  • i know , what a stupid comment to try state.... of course they have more secrets , what would be the point of giving away all their tactics so terrorist know how they work...

  • alright john .its the nephew here . how ya been man. pop up and see us . james

  • johny mac rocks i watched him in action on vt when i got home from school back in 1980

    SAS are nails

  • you cant beat the sas, they are my idols

    fucking pure amazing

  • wow, this answered my question. simon, you are hardcore, man. keep playing the blues

  • Fo0ji, they can't go round telling everyone they are in the SAS. If somebody from the SAS is killed and the story is publicised, they use the soldiers shaddow rank. That is the rank they were before they joined the SAS so nobody would know they actually served for a special force other than their family or close freinds who they might have told.

  • you try doing the stuff he did, you incompetent stupid dickhead. you won't even get close to his level of knowledge or experience. (loser)

  • sladgeh id love to see you take him on u arrogant little prick.. he,d snap u in to little bits

  • im an idiot!?? whos the one keyboard hyping saying this ex sas man is a wannabe hard man!? unlike u hes been there and done it, so stop being jelous and shut the fk up yeah

  • pfffffffft!

  • Stupid irish prick

  • get ure caravan off my lawn u pikey bastard

  • Ha what are you his fucking trainer or something ya boody mincer get ya brain checked fanny

  • ha you are such a fucking c**t he would kill u in a second they go through the toughest training for any army group from any country and your sayin he a waana be ha your probably 5ft fuck and a waster this guy is the man RESPECT to him SHIT to u twat fk!!!!!!

  • agreed

  • this is a great interview, thnx for uploading, this guy is so cool!

  • ur wrong SAS is speical force. CIA and MI6 dont fall under that catagory

  • just like Counter-strike :D :D :D

  • I'm sure 'even' SAS guys get nervous at times...they are human. I doubt that their undisputed excellence would come from a lack of human feelings, instead more likely an understanding of that coupled with knowledge, skills and hard as hell, repeated training.

  • i suppose you would keep your service quiet or else with the amount of money spent on training a special forces soldier you might be quite a nice target for kidnap and ransom dont you think!?

  • With respect to those who didn't beat the clock.

  • In the special forces?, fuck off,

people that are in special forces never let it be known in public i know that for a fact,

Especially members of the regiment, the members still serving, they never let anyone know that they are serving with the outfit so why lie?,

nobody will think you are some hero if you claim to be special forces.

Much respect to John Mac he's scottish and so am i :D

  • Ur speaking the truth man the official secrets acts in britain prevents these dudes from revealing who they are. They are unsung heroes who deserve our respect

  • I wouldnt call them nervous wrecks. Seeings how I serve in the US Special Forces, we act very similar. Not nervous, just very aware of whats going around. You do have that beat into your brain from bootcamp throughout.

  • Thats strange how your special forces and 19, don't you have to serve in the army for at least 3 years or 6 not sure before you can actually apply for the selection. Or is it different in America? Otherwise I smell bullshit.

  • Thats strange how your special forces and 19, don't you have to serve in the army for at least 3 years or 6 not sure before you can actually apply for the selection. Or is it different in America? Otherwise I smell bullshit.

  • To my knowledge special service don't get let in at 16, you're looking at 21 or so, but I could be wrong.

  • Exactly, you need 3 years of service in Afghanistan or Iraq or any other operations you've already done before you can even apply for the SAS were you only get 2 chances at passing selection. So when someone says theyre 19 and in a special force... either the force you joined is shite and lets newbs in or your simply lying.

  • he must be lying because if he was in the special forces he would not be allowed to tell every1 on the fukin internet

  • no he wudnt be able to tell of live ops or where he'd be goin or what he'd be doin or fightin in danger of national security he can say what he wants when he's retired if he gives away sas secrets then he'd get arrested

  • You dont need to have served over seas for a certain amount of time to apply for selection, you just need to have served a minimum of two years in a service lol, not police.

  • its 3 years n he couldve joined when he was 16

  • you need 3 years of soldiering above the age of majority [i.e. 18]. if you join as a boy soldier, you have to do 3 years after you qualify as an adult soldier. there have been a few very rare occasions [D. Falconer] but not many at all. furthermore, you have to have passed your SQ course before the count begins.

  • You can only serve as an adult soldier at 18, then do your minimum of 3 years. Aswell as doing the course which is 6months but I might be wrong there. Still, do the maths tit.

  • 0112If you served ussf, youd know SAS trained you or your sf friends or previous troopers before you and thumbs up your on -1

  • Yeah I understand that but to people saying the man is a nervous wreck, I implore you to serve 1 week in a live fire situation so you could speak with some knowledge of what it's like. THE SUN NEVER SETS ON THE SEVENTH!!

  • i guess he just have bad nerves, which i think if i did i would show bad nerves too (before, during and after), when it comes to it - i think like everyone else i would have no choice to block them out and compensate later for it

  • i have so much respect for these guys u just have to this shit they go throw just to get into the regiment is sooo tought

  • yeah i have soo much respect for these guys aswell, there out there making sure we are safe

  • enit safe m8

  • does this man look like a nervous wreck!! fuck most of you talk shit!!

  • the whole S.A.S are legends.medals all round

  • nervous wrecks?? u sap! i wudnt say that! thats the most stupid thing i heard this year! it be more the case of you luv sumthing u break ur balls 4 it like no one else on earth u live 4 the rush of it all the brotherhood ur part of fammily ur the best in the world at what u do then one day its gone ur back shopin with the wife in tesco lookin at match of the day bein a normall person. these boys aint normall!firefights contacts all that bollocks is a drug 4 them. take it away????? what happens

  • lol there is no proof of that

  • as well trained as these guys are most of them end nervous wrecks........

  • Not most of them. Some soldiers may eave service mentally scarred, but many do not.

  • The England cricket team get OBE's or sumat for winning the Ashes. These lads get nowt, for saving lives ! I have a problem with that.

thats what i was replying to

  • what a legend

  • What dont you get?

  • I love the simplicity of his approach, "if you have to kill them to stop them, that's what you do". To the top.

  • I normally watch all of these video clips with loads of scepticism as you really don't know whom to believe, how do you know they know what they are takling about basically... On this occasion though, I will just step aside quietly and let the man do the talk. Mac, I would love to meet you one day mate, if at all possible. Respect.

  • Which game is this ripped from?

  • the regiment

  • simon, i know it must be a little old now but is the game still good? and is it on PS2/3? thanks for the vids by the way.

  • ps2. is not that good bu t i would like to play it

  • I filmed most of the interviews with John MacLeese which you've posted. He's an interesting fella certainly; be careful, though. Whilst filming, he almost broke the runner's neck when he suprised him- walking up behind him with his cup of tea! By the way, Konami (who made the game this is ripped from) might be on your ass soon.

  • i know, i didnt ask permission, but i did beat the game to get it, so i kinda deserve this unlock? hehe. ill put a disclaimer, thx for reminder

  • so do i, and the cricket team are called heros

  • The England cricket team get OBE's or sumat for winning the Ashes. These lads get nowt, for saving lives ! I have a problem with that.

  • Well, lifes unfair, get used to it. Im sure he sleeps well at night without his OBE's ;).

  • Excellent
