nice one. i have never used kobolds in a game (that i remember). but they keep popping up in the last few weeks on other peoples' posts i've seen. i enjoyed this scene. ta
@23penguins32 Appreciated, Penguins. I've noted with 4th edition that kobolds play a larger roll in earlier levels, and seem to be favored by a lot of Wizards of the Coast writers. They are a lot of fun for beginning levels.
@Markleberry i've been trying to think of a reason why i've never used them as a GM. it's not dislike. nothing wrong with them and i know they are prominent, quite so in many of the online modules i've read from WotC. no idea :)
i think my favourite of that type is the gnoll. to me it looks like the stuff of nightmares. but i suppose a kobold 'swarm' coming your way would be terrifying as well. just thought of kobolds in a sort of horror film way, stopping to eat their enemies in battle. nice
