I remember being on a movie set and most of the extra's told me that they can get between $50 to $200 per day. Depending on how long they were on location and how many days they were needed. This lady said her mom was paid $1,000 to sit in a bar for a movie. Idk.

It is easy. I've done it. I get the messages to my phone and i call the number and so far I've done background acting in like 8 or 9 projects now and made close to 20,000 for maybe 40-45 hours of work. ;) i looove money

I was an extra in a movie years ago and i didn't have to pay- they paid me. I wasn't part of an agency or anything- I just showed up, they gave me a slip of paper, i did what they said then i got a check ... in the mail i believe..... and it was fun easy money! They are doing a lot of filming in Shreveport LA- which i live near. its all about knowing where to look and being near a shoot. as far as being famous... its all about politics, looks and luck (and sometimes talent... LOL)!

It's so hard to be in hollywood.. But being an extra isn't all that hard... but you most definitely don't have to pay to be in an extra role... if you happen to walk by as they are filming who knows thay might call you as they did with me for the movie sky high... they just took random ppl walking by on campus... so yeah this guy is crazy.. anywho $90 bucks for like 4 seconds you see the back of my head not bad.. i feel like a star haha
