Well, I never seen Conehead, but I know Jane Curtin played in the movie. They made a reference about it in the show. But as for Footloose, John Lithgow plays a reverend who's against rock n' roll music. So when Tommy starts a rock n' roll band, Dick doesn't approve and quotes directly from Footloose. It was a hilarious scene to all those who've seen Footloose.

OMFG I can't believe I didn't see this one before... one of the best jokes I've ever heard!

To anyone that didn't get it: they both played the same character in the same story, though years apart from one another. Shatner played someone who sees and stressed out over a gremlin on the wing of a plane decades ago on The Twilight Zone (Nightmare at 20,000 Feet), and Lithgow played the same character in the The Twilight Zone Movie quite a while after that.
