Very true. If people didn't spend money, there would not even be a music industry! How else are they going to pay for all the stuff one needs just to make an album? @bfnfamily from my own personal experience you can get an entire album made mixed and mastered for 1 to 2 grand depending on the hourly rates of the studio and sound engineers, so it is really not that costly especially when you divide the price among band members (assuming we're talking about a band here) it doesn't come to much more than 300-500 per member. promoting is different, and this is where record industries and labels come in.
If I wanna download I'm gonna do so...fuck the recording industry execs.. In the end if I like an artist 's music I buy their album, I have over 100 or hundreds of cd's, but if all I ever want is one song I'm not paying 5 to 10 bucks for it in the store or online for however much they wanna charge..

Very true. If people didn't spend money, there would not even be a music industry! How else are they going to pay for all the stuff one needs just to make an album? @bfnfamily from my own personal experience you can get an entire album made mixed and mastered for 1 to 2 grand depending on the hourly rates of the studio and sound engineers, so it is really not that costly especially when you divide the price among band members (assuming we're talking about a band here) it doesn't come to much more than 300-500 per member. promoting is different, and this is where record industries and labels come in.
