I did this make up remover but i wasn't able to purchase aloe vera water. Luckily, reading the description box, you said filtered water could be used instead and that's what i used! It works amazing! It removed all my make up and made my face super soft! Please make more DIY videos!

You don't have to add water! You can actually just use the olive oil by itself. I tried it! If you want, you COULD mix in water, but you don't have to.

Oh what a wonderful tip! Instead of bottled water I use your suggestion of olive oil with Roberts Acqua Distillata Alle Rose (Distilled Rose Water) You can find it online from anywhere from $4 to $13. It smells wonderful and the oil has completely changed the way my skin behaves! Thanks Michelle! :D

this was awesome i tried it out however, i went to all drug stores,healthy grocerie stores, and local ones and no aloe vera water so my mom had some aloe vera natrual juice andso i used a teaspoon and pourd some in the water mixing it in with the extra virgin olive oil and it worked just fine! all the makeup seemed to be breaking down fromtt he olive oil and is totally worth using as a back up makeup remover i would recomend this to everyone! thanks michelle! :)

This is great, thank you! I usually remove my make up with baby wipes and when needed eye make up remover but it always leaves the skin around my eyes dry and irritated, and since I generally wear heavy eye make up, getting it all off can be quite the hassle.

To answer the woman's question, yes I did use EXTRA virgin, olive oil. Olive oil can make you break out. Everyone is different. We all have different types of skin. Olive oil may work out for some people, but heads up, not everyone can use this on their face. I don't believe it when people say that olive oil won't clog your pores. It sure does mine. If you can handle it great. :)

Oh and I used insted of Aloe vera water, I used calendula flower (boiled) water, If you searche calendula is great for acne and skin problems, and your skin gets a realy smooth texture :)

Just remember to not soak up that cotton pad with too much olive oil next time :) I've been using it for over 2 years and it's so effective and easily accessible in my kitchen when I run out.
