One of the great cooking teachers of all time; he and Julia Child are why so many love cooking today. Non pretentious, fun and so humble. I love Jacque Pepin!! the best
I love that Jacques cuts the BS in wines. I'm the same way, I don't spend more than $15 on wine (my budget is bigger than Jacques') I don't care what epeople think, I drink what I like, PERIOD!
do you know we have our own check, please! on wttw in chicago!! (i wonder which one came 1st.) unfortunately i have not seen mr pepin on our show. but, er, a certain mr obama has been there..
Jacques Pepin is made to look even more awesome than he already is by putting him at a table with one of the most nauseatingly pretentious people I've ever seen. Did she really pronounce offal "oh-FAHL"?
I usually see Mr. Pepin in cooking segments but rarely in video interviews. He is a lovely, lovely person, besides his knowledge of food. He is engaging and demonstrates how the French and European in general tend to spot their outlook on life. Fun, light-hearted, informative, mannerly. He reminds me of my father's roots, which are partly in France. When I see him, it is warmth and genuine like my folks. Lovely idea to have him on this series.

I love San FranSICKans. So liberal, hate the rich, but were whisted away to castles in Europe and drank champagne as children.
