nay, youre right. I always get confused cuz every time I do an Asus2 I always think of it as an Am cuz the the Em is done the same way. So when I read A major I thought of an E maj instead... nevermind me, just being duh..

Hey, how do you get the verse sound? How playing behind the nut is bended like an octave above, and phased/chorused?

hm... this one took me a lot of time to master.

first of all, before picking the strings you have to mute them with your hand and only release when they are picked. also you have to pick the right strings only, not all of them(higher strings in Halo).

now, to get a cool sound(this is VITAL) you need a heavy compression(with a compressor) and some distortion. for Halo you also need a soft vibratto and reverb.Same effect is used in the pre-chorus("god is freedom").

A'ight man. That sounds sick, thanks for the tips. I play Halo, and I'm pretty good with the 'behind the nut' picking (already knew to mute the strings...otherwise you get unecessary tones/vibes). Didn't think about the compressor, but I was sure there was a slow/soft vibrato...I use a phaser for it currently, since I lack a Boss Tremolo, although I will now try a vibrato...Thanks a bunch.
