Hey i enjoy your vids man, you are like the American Picker of old electronics. I would watch a show if you were on it man, im seeing a future on tech tv Electronic pickers. Good Video bro
I live in PA, And I watch all these game videos about how they find stuff at goodwill or at flea markets. I Just went to my first flea market on the hunt for old games. And i found this Genesis 32x at Saturdays Market Maybe you heard of it. Anyway i got it for 4 Bucks and it has no wires. Would you have any idea what it would be worth? Its also pretty Scratched Up on a scale from 1 - 10 id give it a 4.
i have a copy of qbert for the ti99 if ur interested you can have it for free i recently picked up a box of various games for the 2600 5200 and 7800 at a yard sale and that was in there i dont own a ti99 so i dont need it i might still have a copy of parsec and a disk manager cartridge lying around if i find them u can have them
wow dude,i love how you are really into old video games, when i was six my parents took me toys are us and bought me a nintendo 64 but it was pikachu edition,im not lying,it was blue and it had a pikachu on it.when ever you would turn it on you would see the cheeks lite up and it came with a mic and a hey pikachu n64 game,it was really awesome,im hoping that one day i will find another one of those near my flea market since mine got busted and my dad threw it away :c
Thanks for sharing your trip! Looks like you got some nice deals! I know what you mean about the vendors with bins of video games. The last time I visited a flea market I couldn't believe how much they wanted for some of their games.
THAT was a cool looking flea market, looks like it is in the middle of grasslands. You can buy that c64 disk cable at radio shack because the cable is a standard cable for something else. I think it's 5 pin din to 5 pin din. I last saw one there a couple years ago.
@DlNKYDANA You can also make a cable to write to the drive from a pc so you can transfer .dsk files to real disks. If you buy a 1581 disk drive you can use your pc floppy to put your downloaded games on disk and play them on the real thing.
@DlNKYDANA My in-laws are coming soon, so maybe that will be a good excuse to check them out. BTW, grats on the popularity! You're really soaring with the subs.
@blacklily8 Providing the weather is nice, it's a great way to get out. And thanks, it's strange having so many subscribers now. You're gaining a ton as well!
@DlNKYDANA This sinks everyone up North has great Flea Markets and Thrift Stores but down South especially Louisiana we don't have jack crap. All the TS and FM around here just have smelly old Grandma stuff. Maybe I don't have the technique you and other people have for finding a great FM or TS maybe I need some pointers. I've never seen a YT videos like this from someone from the South since I think we just got the shaft and Ebay are price gouging A-holes.I'll never find any games.
Really enjoyed your tour around the Flea Market. Haven't been to one of these for years but watching this video...i can definately see the draw now once again. Can imagine you've picked up some amazing bargains overtime! :)
@MENDEZ1628 Flea markets definitely pay off over the long run. Looking back it's amazing the deals that I find out there. So much fun because you just never know what you'll run into.
Brad, you went to the market without locking your front door. I guess if you have Sonic speed, like you, its easy to zoom back home and check-up every 5 minuites.

Your Flea Market videos are king and beat anyothers. Also please update your channel on wether your golden Nintendo 64 works or not.
Awesome video, and great finds. Those 1541 diskdrives can be a bit shady so I really hope it works for you. I have two C64's myself. One breadbox and one white version, but only with tape though.
it's exactly the same here with sellers who have huge bins and collections of games and have set prices which are way to high, especially when it come to snes games. great video dinky and this was a breath of fresh air :D
Ha I got that NIntendo book, You are right that the outside vendors are more cheaper than the ones inside. Usually their way overpriced youd think it was the 90s.
All G&W games i found at flea market except Turtle Bridge. There i found 2600Jr small rainbow for 10 EURO (i have video for Jr) good condition an works great. BTW that golden N64 is fantastic. I would look on Ebay for what is sold. Mario's Cement Factory i found at flea market is worth loose 40 to 50 EURO i found a while ago on Ebay-at. and i pay just 1. See you next time.
Hey Dinky if i rember corectly you live i n Pittsburg right? well if you do, go down to Hopewell (long drive i know) and go to the strip mall for a place called "The Game Master's Realm" ask me for the adress if you need it but i was able to get superfamicom games for 20$ and some really random atari games and its just AMAZING! the guy there has like real rare or random games for all (common) systems
2:13 shady bridge. lol I have not been to a flea market in such a long time and watching this video is really making me want to find one close to my home.
LOL I LOVE AMERICAN PICKERS but i find it weird he asked you if you watched it cause they dont pick up video games they collect old cars and signs and like things from the 80's that advertise things
Loved the Sonic Boom Driving bit I'm totally stealing that idea if I ever do a video where I'm doing somewhere. lol All and all this was a pretty interesting trip to all together.
@DlNKYDANA 3 hour drive + gas money (here gas is expensive so 60$) + road money 40$ + i need to eat something 30 $ and for the last there is no games LOL.
And games here are way overpriced.
PS3 and Xbox games in store cost 100$ and when they have some kind of price drop they never go below 40$.
@CroatianRetroGamer I was already agreeing that ebay is a better choice for ya. lol Flea Markets you can't pick what you get at all. And no way in hell I'd be driving 3 hours every time to go to one. Maybe once or twice a year I'd go just for fun or something.
Some nice purchases there, esp. the gold N64. I have a gold controller, can't remember how I came by that now but don't recall ever seeing a gold N64 IRL.
How I'd love to own one now, though as my old N64 doesn't work anymore. :(
That's a big flea market. My flea market its smaller and not many games. But i found there G&W Mario's Cement factory for 1EURO. Also i found Rechargable battery pack 2 for original GB and still works. Almost missed this battery pack. I have video for this battery. Nice trip.
@DlNKYDANA Thanks! I'll look for the video and I'll watch it. I'd love to go to fleamarkets one day. I like vintage Nintendo games so I'll be looking for one at a fleamarket as well as eBay.
That shadow of the colossus guide is cool to find, and good luck whit the commodore project, when I was younger my friend had one and it is one of my earliest gaming memories.
Great video DD!! I just remembered that I forgot to respond to your PM oops! If you dont want the TI99 games I will buy them or trade for whatever you want or need. Just let me know. I do like these Flea Market videos!
man wish my flea market was half as good as that. people usually over charge on stuff here. i should try and offer less on some stuff since i seen a lot of stuff there for a while. too bad gamestop lowers the price on those guides to .01 then they rip/destroy them when they get a little old.
@DlNKYDANA yeha it seems like they do. there are a lot of vendors at this flea market and makes you feel uncomfortable asking for lower then what the price is. i got a generic gamecube controller that looks like original but without the nentido name on it new in package for $10 today. guess that was little high maybe but i couldn't find one for under $15 here new or used
@james42519 . did get lucky yesterday though at a place called peddlers mall a indoor flea market. (kentucky only. kinda like fleamarket montgomery but smaller and look up on youtube) and got jak 2 new never opened for $4. had the greatest hits sticker on the outside plastic too but it was original black label thing. i never seen that and could care less about what version it is though. as long as the disc is good.
ah Sonic Sega CD I miss that game nice intro. Always nice to see new people and places. Thanks for the info on the Gold Nintendo 64 first time seeing that. Nice deal to give the systems to charity. Take care.
Make more of these it's nice to see how proffecional collectors find their stuff I want to visit my local flee market now ile try to hunt down a cheep ps2 great video.
Random Question. I have just gotten into collecting C64 stuff and I have a bunch of great games on disks. I want to back up the old floppies, do I need 2 c64 disk drives to do that?
I haven't been to a flea market in quite a while. We have this indoor permanent flea market where a Value City used to be. I always did pretty good there looking for vinyl records, but I never looked for video games. I'll have to go back there and look again sometime.

Take care.

Shadow of the colossus strategy guide? you mean you don't just stab the giants in the blue glowing spot... is there more to it?
CapChronic 1 year ago
@CapChronic I was surprised at all the secret stuff in the game. You can take rides on the birds and all kinds of cool stuff.

Random Question. I have just gotten into collecting C64 stuff and I have a bunch of great games on disks. I want to back up the old floppies, do I need 2 c64 disk drives to do that?
psyjax 1 year ago
@psyjax I've never backed any up, actually. The last time I had a functioning C64 was when I was about 8 years old. lol
DlNKYDANA 1 year ago
I have that red book. It's pretty crappy :)
psyjax 1 year ago
@psyjax Yeah, it's not the greatest but still decent for $1.

I haven't been to a flea market in quite a while. We have this indoor permanent flea market where a Value City used to be. I always did pretty good there looking for vinyl records, but I never looked for video games. I'll have to go back there and look again sometime.
RickenbackerBeatles 1 year ago
@RickenbackerBeatles I see lots of vinyl's at these flea markets. You should definitely check for some games though.
