hey i have a question for you and everyone else, I'm using more anti-freeze then i am gas on my bike like whenever i hit the gas all my anti-freeze starts to gush out of the over flow tub and it never stops till all my anti-freeze is gone so im wondering if theres anything i can do to stop that problem? oh btw i have tryed changing my radiator cap but still did the same thing. please comment on my page so i can get it faster thanks.

The "R" at the end signifies the year (03). The '04 is a 250fs the '05 a 250ft and so on.

Yeah wow! Maybe the compression is not as high! I had a 370rm suzuki way back when and it almost would take your leg off kicking it! Nice bike man, sounds real good too!

yeah i changed my top end and there really wasnt much of a compression change, and it sounds kinda weird right now because i repacked the muffler and it sounds so different, almost louder haha, btw have you ever repoed any like dirtbikes or anything, i havent watched like all of your videos but i figured i'd ask

You need to lash your valves or do a top end on it. Its got way low compression bro, just pull the plug and do a compression test. If you tried to start my 250f with your hand you would break your wrist, lol.

i dunno lol i hope not but we made this vid just after i got done showing my friend how my header gets red hot :P lmao so were like hey lets make a vid so we did, and my friends a total beast and he used the hot start so idk i might put a sompression test on the thing sometime soon, i just got done fixing the rear suspension so im just happy i can ride it at this point

hey i just picked one up today and it ran fine but it sat for 2 years and has build up in the carb and it will only idle if the choke is out..is it because of the build up i cleaned some of it out..got to do the rest tommorow

yeah cleaning it out should work, personally ive never had to touch the carb on mine but i had numerous times on my yz80 but yeah, i would say clean out the gunk and replace the fuel lines and stuff, and all the fluids, and turn up the idle screw and it should pur like a kitten

I'm thinking about getting an FMF 4.1 full exhaust system. (with a PowerBomb header) Did you have to change anything on your bike? I've got a '03 YZ250F too.

i actually bought it with the system on it but from what i can tell its a really simple job to do cuz nothing like radiator hoses are in the way, my friend put a power bomb on his crf250x and he melted one of his radiator hoses but it should be a simple install

oh haha, well same to you dude any bike 250f or 450f have a ton of power my back shock got really stiff after i took it to a track about 2 weeks ago and im goin tommorow and dont wanna risk something happening to it, idk your like experience with bikes but any clue as to what i should do maybe just loosen it? cuz ive never had to mess with the shocks on a bike before

The yz250's back shock is pretty stiff from what I understand. You should bring it to the track, see how it handles, and loosen it there if you need too. It usually takes me a few rides before I get my suspension dialed in. Let me know how it goes.
