  • Ma era italiana l'Andrea Doria?

  • Sad watching this

  • My great grandma, great grandpa, grandpa, and great aunt all wanted to emigrate from a small village between Napoli and Roma. My great grandpa, Giuseppe, decided to come to America first to get a job and a home before coming back for the rest of his family. He got on the Andrea Doria on its second to last voyage. If he missed that ride he would've died, causing my grandpa to never come to meet my grandma. If he missed that ride my dad, my sister, our descendants, and I wouldn't be here.

  • There was a gentleman from my parent's home town in Italy who was a passenger. He survived the sinking and now lives in New York.

  • my grandma was on it..

  • My father was on the USS Intrepid in 1956 and took a picture of the Andrea Doria as they passed one another simply because it was such a beautiful ship. He later learned of its sinking. That same tour Price Ranier and Grace Kelly had been married after they left port in Monaco.

  • Era troppo bella

  • @Franci00ful Quello é vero. L'incidente era triste molto.

  • Capitain Calamai was a great hero: I hope one day to see a film on his life...

  • Look at those people. They are having so much funny. I feel sorry for those who had plans to sail on the Andrea Doria. Sorry for those who have never had a chance to experience sailing the Andrea Doria.

  • Duiring a later interview the Captain Calamai, a former world war 2 Italian Navy officer, said that when the stockholm hit the Andrea Doria the orchestra was playing "Only you", the popular Platters' song

  • R.I.P Andrea Doria. But that never haunts me more then Atonia Graza that sank in Ghost Ship movie.

  • This song is 9 minutes of tortue.

  • Awesome, very sad.

  • Wonderful video. What film is the movie footage from?

  • era un barco espectacula! 1956-2010

  • This makes me cry.

  • @gdcat777 Same here. Such a tragic disaster paired with equally beautiful music.

  • what is name of song

  • is Called Rhythm of Love - Live Bites

  • @xamxelatube aucal its called mad world

  • @xamxelatube This Michael Andrews Feat. Gary Jules - "Mad World

  • @Ivan6235 It's from the "Donnie Darko" soundtrack, and was a big hit in the UK.

  • Captain Calamai was indeed very good. It was a big shame and wrong the real facts were not realized at that time. He died fot his ship, and for those 47 casualities, although not aboard.

Andrea Doria had the S band radar asserved to the gyrocompass, the officer on duty made the correct manouvre, it was proved, when too late.

  • she was indeed a beautiful ship

  • I could live without the music. An instrumental would have been more appropriate. This song has what to do with the Andrea Doria?

  • Gary Jules - Mad World!

    : )

  • Rhythm of love - Scorpions
