Just got the dolly. I ordered it in from US to AUS. I had stickers on the box saying made in INDIA. Anyway the metal parts are all solid as although i wouldn't sit on it at 85kg maybe someone lighter could. I got it with 2 different sets of wheels, tbar & a bag.. whats funny is the bag doest fit the dolly in it. (called a bonus dj bag).
The "table dolly" part is to big for most tables but over all im happy with the product. If i could go back id buy another because + 500 delivery + 300 duty :(
Incredible product! Versatile and compact, with very little footprint.
The price is "high" only in relation to DIY dollies. Compare this to a PeeWee dolly in price point and you'll see what I mean. Is this strong enough to mount a small jib?
Good product, but much much MUCH too expensive. Luckily, there are many alternatives. Do the research, people. Years ago, during the bad-ol-days, you had barely any options, and all of them were "pro" items made for "the industry" which adds the requisite 10,000% surcharge. Thankfully, the environment has changed radically. Read, before you buy. Lots of items priced for the "little guys". "You get what you pay for", doesnt always apply.
Very good work. Can't say I've enjoyed a video equipment demo quite as much as this one. I'll definitely consider this product in the future. Know of any rental options?
Also for me, it's to expensive. If you want to make a 360° Degree shot, than maybe it would be reasonable. But to get the same effekt, you can do a straight dolly shoot, than in postpro, you can rotate the image. It looks like an orbitting dolly.
Guys.... Take it easy. You don't have to buy one. Nice little innovative product. I like it so much I welded on up in my garage in 2 hours. Its not as pretty but it has better wheels. Cost of materials, $120.
very simple, over priced, i dont see why its so expensive, the material isnt anything out of this world or much durable on dropping etc. I doubt the production of this is anything over 100$, 3 aluminium hands with tighteners and couple rollers wheels on bottom, just too much, can be easily replicated...

Profoundly cool...but $1500? Ouch. You need a $250 - $500 range prosumer version.

Quite simply you are incorrect on your knowledge of the costs involved in just the materials and fabrication.

Very nice but TOO EXPENSIVE. This should be 1k at most. I thought it would be $800-$900.
