The lights on the highway at 0:10 looked almost like helicopter blades, undoubtedly foreshadowing the thrilling action sequence in the sequel. Good work all 'round, I'm looking forward to more of the same.
The budget for this must've been astounding - the machine alone looks expensive but the soundtrack really does elevate this to 'masterpiece' - bravo good sirs
I like the camera angle and perspective used - it is quite distant to the viewer, presenting itself to be 'unreachable'. To emphasise this, the placement of taxis in the scene create an atmosphere which makes the viewer feel that the other people in this fictional world, created by the director, are unaffected by this and are living exciting, eventful lives whereas the protagonist is trapped in this environment.
Who was the director? He/she did a marvellous job.
Beautiful. Absolutely haunting. The contrast of the juxtaposing elements of the piece serve to highlight with pure sincerity the starkness of the fragile human condition. Wonderful... Just so wonderful...
That's awesome! I really liked the bit when everything starts moving. The lights of the cars and the lights of the roadworks make it look really cool!
I love how the director has chosen to ignore contemporary trends and not film it in widescreen, it gives it a far more noir feel and raises the tension
the use of light and shade in this video plus the continuation of a singular camera angle really shows the angst you must feel about the actions of Marrickville Council. I commend you sir, 5 stars.
I loved the innovative "Tallscreen" format.
