@bounty88, we look at it this way, most of people could never afford the custom choppers or hot rods built on TV, but it's still fun to watch how they're built and learn something new! That is what we're hoping Mod Men will do for you. It would to see modding reach a wider audience, we would be happy just to be on PBS!

if you go to makezine.com blog and go back a few pages there is a Mobile 'Document Camera Stand project'. It is designed to get good over head shot. You can only view it by going to the blog right now since it is a work in progress. It uses 1/4 20 all thread and electrical terminal lugs, very cool. Don't know what size of camera you use but I'm building one for my Zi6, it is designed for a smart phone though.
