  • im adopting a dog from here and shes sooooo cutee i completely fell in love with her the minute i looked at the picture!! im gunna have the dog at my dads house cuz he wants a dog too and because i have two cats and i live in an appt so we cant get a dogg

  • i know this i saw a vid in youtube that buy a dog get a shelter dog killed!

  • Dose it realy matter cat or dog.I have 3 dogs, all fixed, 2 I rescued and 1 rottie I got from a breader because with that breed I wanted to see the parents.I'm a dog person and when I see cops workin with cats it may change my mind about them being a useless animal but I wouldn't dog someone for wanting a cat

  • adopt a dam cat . the minute you bring your dog home they crap everywhere around your house and will destroy it. cats deserve to be adopted. and where i live more cats are being adopted dogs.

    he he he

  • some people dont like independent animals much. dogs are good companions and good friends, cats are just cats. they like to be left alone, maybe played with a little but other than that they like naps and people that arent that active wont like cats. i like to be active so i like dogs better

  • You are taking a video that means so much to me not the maker of the video but just a viewer. I work with dogs and cat 2 to 3 times a week and I know they both need loving homes. I also know that unlike you said dogs will not "crap everywhere around your house and will destroy it." I have had dogs all my life and will continue to have them for they are great pets as are cats. Your bad rating on this video shows me and others that you do not care about all animals in need but only cats in need.

  • i love that people adopt but not often enough is the older dog adopted i mean like a 2 year old or 5 even its sad the puppies are adopted quickly idk its even worse for them

  • People simply don't know. An adult dog is, in many ways, much easier to care for than a puppy. Chances are they're already housebroken, past the teething/chewing stage and simply don't need the near constant attention of young puppies. People may think that a puppy may be easier to train, but if you don't know how to train an adult dog, you'll do even worse with a puppy.

For first time dog owners, get up to speed on dog training, breeds, behavior and get a yearling dog.

  • i cried so hard!!!! then i went and asked my mom to watch this video and she said we r going to adopt a puppy tomorrow!!!! so now daisy (my 7 yr old dog) will have someone to play with!!! awesome video!!

  • that's amazing!! good luck to you :)

  • This is great!

  • how could someone be so cruel this mademe cry think of how many of these animals have to be put down because of there injuries

  • wow that made me cry so hard!!!

is discusting, horrific, and just wrong that anyone cud possibly ever be in the right mind to abuse or neglect a dog .. or any pet...

thank you for this video ... it definitly made a difference

  • im going to adopt a dog as soon as possible!

  • that is fantastic!!!

  • i'm going to adopt a dog from a human society using petfinder for my birthday (July 19)

  • i really want to adopt a pet but u kno my mom and dad dosnt let me (im 12)i really want a pet i meen who dosnt look at the cute little faces they are so cute i meen why would anyone hurt a dog and why would they adopt them at the first place i meen right say yes if u agree with me.

  • i wish my mom would let me adopt a dog.

i just dont understand it! some idiot thinks its "cool" to be mean to a dog, but what if the dog was them?

we already have 4 dogs so i dont need anymore right now.

but when i do get older (im 13) the first thing that i am goin to do is adopt a dog!

  • Good job! We need more people like you in the world... I made an adopt a dog video too! So you can go to my page to watch it if you want? Good Job again! :)

  • Thank you we all need to what we can to help these and all animals, i`ll never understand how people can be so cruel,

  • Thanks for the comment! It's horrible how people abandon and/or mistreat their pets but thankfully there are many success stories as well :)

  • I definitely agree with you! Donating time is often just important as helping financially. Thanks for the kind comment :)

  • Thank you for posting this! I hope people will hear the spay/neuter message and will consider how they can help with the problem of too many shelter animals. Another option, for those whose landlords won't let them have pets, is to volunteer at a local shelter to spend time with the animals there. An hour a week can make a big difference to a shelter animal!
