The saddest thing is that most people who do like the movies first tend to still like them better than the games even after they've played them because they can't relate. People shouldn't even like the movies. All Paul Anderson does is steal characters and direct scene's from the video games and shove them into his movies without any thought or planning put into it. It just breaks my heart when you play the games and see such an intricate and complex plot that you can trace back 50 years ruined by someone who just takes bits a pieces, and throws them together to make a sub-par action film.

the nemesis battle is bullshit. Each time your fight nemesis, he gets harder and harder to kill. Now, the final scene of the movie, Jill fights nemesis with her bare hands? That's bullshit! Even in the first battle, if you use the Beretta You'd still be fucked, let alone using your hands! the first encounter with him, i used ALL of my Machine gun ammlo. And some of my magnum ammo. and the fucker didn't die.

believe it or not I knew of a guy at college years ago who said he liked the first Resident Evil movie and Milla Jovovich and wanted to take up acting because he saw that film, I almost died honestly when I heard that, how could anyone be inspired by watching that movie! Luckily I dont think he got very far! the first movie was horribly acted and the acting got even worse in the sequels! These films are awful, shame on everyone involved.

When i didn't know the real resident evil story, but still i didn't like that Milla Jovovich.(But i know Leon,chrisNemesis,Jill and Claire) I supported nemesis in the fight against Alice(that he would beat her). I ended in huge dissapointment and i started to hate them. When i figured out Real Resident Evil, i started to blame Anderson.(Nemesis supposed to be more faster,stronger and tougher,but no cause it's "fair" to Alice to beat him up.UNFAIR!

Im no die hard fan of the games at all, but they are much better than the movies and had a character and an atmosphere to them, especially the first three, the films became to centered around Milla Jovovich and quickly became self indulgent characatures of themselves with the third film being the worst of the lot and having the main lead have super powers was wrong.
