  • i love this video. i love this car.

  • I am 17 and tomorrow i am going to Drive this car ! :D (car is my father's friends car)

  • @trbossdoggy Just be careful and enjoy the feeling of driving a classic high performance Mustang. There's nothing like it!!!

  • nice nieghborhood, all them trees!

  • 351 cubic inches are 4.7-4.8 liters or am I wrong?

Anyway, your Mach 1 is one of the best Mustang high performance variants together with Boss 429.

In fact, your Mustang should be the Boss 351, right?

  • @djultrasonic100 351 Cubic inches equals to 5.8 liters if I remember correctly

  • nice musatng 71 mach 1

  • 71-73 Mustang's have to be the most underrated Mustang's ever. I always loved the long body style and the fact that it is the last of the first generation Mustangs.

  • get a rear spoiler and rear window louvers.

  • wow<3

  • should i buy a mach 1???? im not sure about the year but my neighbor is selling it????

  • nice car. its actually my channel background

  • The original Eleanor was a 73 Mach or boss not sure. the chase scene is practically the whole movie

  • That is a ridiculously badass noise

  • Sweet car, love it

  • What a beautiful car

  • does anyone know what motor does it have and what muflers does it has. does it have flowmasters? if so, how many chambers and what size of pipe is in it?

  • @hdultra its a very nice car, but i'd like to know what motor does it have and what muflers does it has. does it have flowmasters? if so, how many chambers and what size of pipe is in it?

  • Those wheels are fantastic, same that came on the Maverick GT here in Brazil.

  • This car is perfect. Just like the one used by James Bond in Diamonds are forever.

  • I WANT

  • damn thats nice

  • now that is sweet. one suggestion though: the hood is to low on the passenger side front of the hood... it's not meeting right were it flows over the headlight. Just lift hood and bring the rubber adjuster up 2 or 3 turns. That shoudl do it.

  • I dig those wheels. Have always loved them since watching Gone in 60 Seconds, as a kid. Alot of factory wheels on various musclecars can look just great. Little reason for change, unless your building a hotrod or drag car. I'm actually about to finally be getting a '71 Mustang, after decades of owning other vintage iron. Planning to build an Eleanor look alike.

  • ahhhh sweeeet sweet car

buut, it may just be me but the idle seems a liiittle too high

motor looks veery nice, air intake is b-e-auutiful, i love the way the motor is set up where u can see it all pretty well, main parts at least

but one thing is it needs a big block but over all its a great car

  • @jesidawn13

I think idle is just right. Keep in mind it has a 351 4V cleveland engine, heads with huge ports and compression 10.7:1. With the original Autolite 4300 4V carburetor and it's throttle solenoid the shopmanual says RPM 625, automatic in drive and solenoid energized. That means idle is around 800 RPM, transmission in neutral. Mine idles best this way.

  • @HenriTheLast . thanks, it is correct and this video was recorded in December when it was about 35 degrees out! So, it is on high idle on start

  • Hunch Back !

  • HOLY FUCK.................

  • porn

  • I used to own a '71 like this, same color too. I'll regret it forever that I sold it.

  • Sounds really good.. I love those factory wheels !!

  • all it needs is some mag 500's and it will b perfect. even though they arent correct. all gen 1-3 need to have them.

  • is your engine a 351 clevland or a 427?

  • @TheLespaulmatt can you read the air cleaner?????

  • @TheLespaulmatt tags say 351 so I's say it's a 351C

  • @TheLespaulmatt 351 Cleveland with a .30 overbore

  • Where do You live In Massachusetts? i live in methuen. There is also a 71' mach1 in NH. looks just like yours. Also I seen your car around.

  • my dad is giving me this car when im older. his is yellow and he says it has 600 horsepower. idk he exaggerates

  • Beautiful car, brings back some great memories.

  • yes, but i would'n t call those "ghetto" wheels. ghetto wheels look worse than that. i know ford made better looking mags in those days.

  • @barnabas50 I perfer these somehow

  • i got a nice 73 almost done. go to mustangdrummer62 to see it.

  • i got a nice 73 almost done.

  • where did you get the bolts and nuts to attach the hood scoops to the hood? ive been trying to find them but no luck. thanks for the help! :)

  • @metalman134 /// I bought the cad paint kit from Eastwood, sandblasted the originals and did them myself

  • nice car i got one just like it but mine has a black strip

  • would look much better with different rims.

  • @barnabas50 no car looks better with aftermarket rims, keep it original

  • @barnabas50 You talking about those ghetto chrome 20+ inch ones?

  • this is the 'stang that shoulda played elanore. screw my left nut, id give'em BOTH for a 71 mach 1. its the sexiest stang ever made.

  • the ORIGINAL Elanor, was a 73 mach 1....

  • @jwdundon It was a '73 Mustang fastback, not a Mach 1. It was missing the Mach 1 decals and didn't have the NASA hood. Though, I have never seen the full movie. I'm just basing this off of the chase scene. Beautiful car regardless.

  • @benthead561 a 73 stang did play elanore mine is a 428 with 750 carb and i have both my nuts oh and btw gone in 60 seconds is a remake

  • @benthead561 the original movie had Eleanor that looked alot like this car. It was a 70 ish Mach 1 Mustang. Dont know why they changed it to the GT500 for the remake. I really like the way these cars look. They look awesome even today.

  • i will buy me one of those one day.......

  • I'm not a big Mustang guy, but the Mach 1s are seriously awesome.

  • fuckin sexy

  • And this is what happens when GM builds a Mustang, i always wonder how it might have turned out if ex-chevy people weren't involved in the production of this.

  • @ShamusOGrady2 Yeah, they say it was worse because it was bigger and heavier... but it was designed so it could have a boss 429 engine without problems. I dont really know why not much people like the design, its great. Larry shinoda did some really awesome cars back then.

  • WTF? the 71 mustang is a rebuilt 70 torino..... what did GM do with it?

  • @jwdundon It was designed by Semon Knudsen, orignally from GM. He used Gm ideals when he designed it. There was another ex-gm person in the equation but i don't recall the name. This basically wasn't a ford creation and you'll notice that from a lack of any Ford badging at all on this car. The true ford people wanted you to know that it was still a mustang, just not a ford idea.

  • Thumbs up if you think 20+in' rims are fucking gay on muscle cars! Gay period!

    Nice Stang btw

  • thats beautiful. one of the nicest ones ive ever seen

  • these rims are classic muscle....stop bitching people

  • @poopy909 Hahah, the upgraded wheel covers in 1971 look a lot nicer than the base ones on this car though. :)

  • amazing car:)

  • I think it's gorgeous... and I tend to lean more towards GM and Mopar lol. I heard that people didn't like they way they looked back in the day but I think its great.

  • WTF are you guys talking about?! You dont need 22" wheels on ANYTHING...

  • for a ford car.... thats FUCKING NIIICES

  • Thats tite man, Me n my dad building 78 cobra from ground up :D Its gunna be a fun time. we mite put the 429 in thou

  • trans am firsbird is much nicer

  • Love that sound!!!!!!

  • Our 71 mustang is better :)

  • u dont need 22 or better rims on muscle cars

  • @reppin49dank You dont need 22+ rims an any vehicle unless there an SUV

  • is it weird the i came buckets when i saw the front and heard the engine

  • Love the wheels! - just like Eleanor's! from the original, (and by far the best) "Gone in 60 seconds"

  • nice to bad its look was a hole 10years ahead of its time "im my opinion" i wish people would fix these flowers up i can see to find out why people dispise them so much thay do not look like the erlyer mustangs and thay were rly big but the power and control was great o well people are so unesasarly hatefull of cars some times

  • @RedStaryPuu true, you can tell to someone doesnt know about cars its new and they will belive you.

  • nice

  • 351 Cleveland's are underrated engines..just love 'Em..and I love those wheels..my aunt had a New '71 Mach 1..302 tho..but always loved that car..

  • @Oscarandmax my dad had a 351 cleveland in his torino...but he didnt have a rev limiter and the crank snapped and sent the oil pump through the pan....he said it would still lay drag with 2 seized up pistons xD

  • That's james bond car in Diamonds are forever !!!!! same color

  • i am in love

  • although i still like this, I prefer the 69/70 body configuration much more... not sure why- maybe it looks "cleaner" ?? more in proportion... the 71/72's look chunky in the back and lopsided sort of.... (still a beautiful car- no offense meant at all).

  • stephanie,

i have a 1972 mach one in exacly the

same color, but with front and rear spoiler and partly black hood.and wolfrace rims on it,this was all on the car when i bought it seven years ago.

i totaly agree with you on the point

of originality,i like the car also with these dog dish hubcaps and without the

    spoilers and hockey striping.

  • gran torinos run from 1972 to 1976

  • thats my dream car. exact colour, rims year...

only thing i want is a boss 429 engine in it.

but this engine sound better anyway.

  • I thought the "Gran Torino" didn't come out until 1972 but I could be mistaken.

  • They were around before that.

  • You are correct in that the Gran Torino was available for the first time in 1972.

  • @MrFuroius1972

Sorry but the car in my garrage says otherwise. Search for 68 gran torino with google picture search. You gonna see a wine red one with white stripes. Mine has the same color.

  • 39.000 dolares...yo los pagaria

  • Nice looking & sounding Mach1.

  • beautiful car but i agree it would look bettter with magnums on it me and my dad have a yellow 71 with a cleveland 2barrel and factory ram air

  • What a nice car... Never mind the non-believers, the wheels are beautiful.

  • You are a little bitch Magnums are better. Get a better taste dickweed.

  • Calling me a non-believer? I actually own one of these cars, do you? No, because you are a little pussy fuck that drives a Kia. I can decode these VINs on these cars just by looking. Man, if I saw you in real life I would fucking smack you for saying that to me, piece of shit. Fuck you.

  • you just made my day.

  • why did I make your day?

  • Pinoy1971,

Well said, the wheels are beautiful. The 14x7 wheels with caps and rings were the standard. Most of the gussied up magnum cars running around originally had these wheels on them. Its not a question of taste, its a question of factory correct and heritage. If someone doesn't appreciate that, then let them salivate over the "ooooh shiny" of Mag 500's. We know these cars and appreciate them as they were, not as taped and magged up even though they weren't originally.

  • I give the owner credit for keeping everything orginial but those hub caps are so ugly. They take away from the car, I wish Ford came up with something different. The Magnum 500s do wonders for the overall look. I have a 1972 Mach 1 that is the exact same color as yours.

  • What would you put? 25 inch nigra chrome rims? Fucking obnoxious, these wheels are just fine.

  • I clearly mentioned the Magnum 500 Wheels that were in orginial option and they look way better. Know your facts bitch.

  • Dude, shut your cock filled mouth. I am not black, I like everything orginial just like this guy but the Magnums are way better looking. Little bitch, why don't you own one of these cars before saying anything. Sit down fuck face.

  • @MrFuroius1972 I would never own a car that goes well only in a straight line, but I still admire the whole muscle car world. You're just a basement dweller with very little humanity. Choke on a dick, someone elses ofc,cos you don't have one.

  • If I ever saw you I would fuck you up. You are too much of a bitch to own a car like this. You are probably some whimpy old man that like to take it in the ass.

  • magnums do look 100x better, i got a 71 mach 1 in white and black XD

  • @vlajster that rims are just perfect for the car. makes it more racieer (is that even a word??) whatever youre right doush is wrong. xD

  • my big bro had a blue one...but sold it

  • if i had that and they gave me a ferrari for it i would say no.

  • Damn Right!

Great car and beautiful original wheels, quite rare to see now.

  • youre lucky. that is exactly my dream car.

only red, or yellow, with exactly those hubcaps.

  • i soooo wanna have this :(

  • You usually don't see a 71 Mach-1 with the standard rims. Great looking car. My mom had a 71 Torino with the same engine.

  • Reaching for the hand cream and Kleenex here...

  • just beautiful.

  • its a nice car but i like the 69 body style better keep that in shape it will be worth a shit ton more in acouple years

  • i love it...

  • He's got a badass car wit ha badass lisence plate. So he's gonna show 'em. And he's not a pussy that thinks the world is out to get him like you.

  • and all you can aford is a matchbox car because anyone with any sense would want to protect their car. Showing your plate isn't doing that.

  • I got two, count 'em, two seperate means of protection.

    1st: Browing 12 Guage

    2nd: 44 Magnum

And a bedroom with a direct view of my driveway. Best damn security system in the country. So let me know if you or any of your other puss friends wants any of my lisence plates. :)

  • do you go around with your license plate covered? People are going to see it.....

  • nice mach, i bought my 71 in 1983. it's a 429scj. grabber yellow w/ white and black int. and clean too. i love her way more than my vette.

  • One of the "uglier" tail models but still it´s a mustang so it´s awesome :)

  • This car was design after the Ford J Car !

  • Yepp some of it is so.But i meant the tail in general with lights and that kinds of stuffs.I am a true mustang freak myself and have one but a more rare model and just abit older so i have read alot of history about them :) just wanted to make the statement in general but this tail is pretty easy to make beautiful and still to keep the original design :)

  • You are right on ...Awesome!

  • amazing car...so beautiful

  • The only Mustang I've ever wanted, I think I saw this one the other day, only in deep cherry red, instead of tomato soup red. I nearly came.

  • Looks & sounds great, I had a 69 Marc1 back in 83, sold it and i still kick myself in the ass for doing so.....

    Damn i miss that car, lot's luck....enjoy...

  • My dad says the same thing, only

im kicking his ass for doing it

  • this is the only mustang i would ever own cuz i dont like mustangs a 67 shelby or a 71 mach 1..nice color, and great sounding engine :))

  • did you say u didnt like a 71 mach 1?

  • no dude, i meant to say i would only own a 67 or 68 shelby or a mach 1 especially a 71. i dont like mustangs. but i would love to own a mach 1 or a shelby.

  • i just drove my 1972 through amsterdam.

been filmed and photographed 4 times.

a cab driver asked my if i would sell it.

told him no,and to look on the internet.

over here in holland they go for 9000-19000 euros. this car is one of the things that makes live worth living,i will keep it

    till my last day.

  • im jealous

  • my dream car with the dream tires. She is gorgeous. now thats a car. I live in Europe but i would like one so bad. This car is heaven. thank you for the vid

  • I owned a 72' with pwr windows, a/c , ram air induction, fold down rear seat and more.... I sure regret selling it :: sigh ::

  • oh man, awesome dude, rims and tires are perfect, no lame bs rims.

  • CUDA FTW (70 ver)

  • this kicks ass dude! i wouldve gotten a mach 1 but i bought a 69 el camino because it was first choice

    nice mach bro

  • Ugly :/

  • Go finger fuck youre sisters foo foo!

Thats on of the best looking muscle cars ever!

    Youre camaro sucks dick!

  • Don't offend me... I wrote my opinion... The best looking is '68 Mustang GT390; '71 HEMI 'Cuda; '70 Chevelle SS; '70 Roadrunner and many many more. And my Camaro is very very nice car. So fuck off and calm down. You have to respect my opinion.

  • Nooooo u got it wrong!Best cars are 64-67 GTO,66-67 Chevelle,68 Charger,69 Roadrunner,70 Challenger/Chevelle and 71-72 Mach 1/Roadrunner.

    Cars died in 73!

No youre camaro aint nice car.

  • your camaro is lame compared to this mach 1 dude

  • i don't care what you think

  • then why should we care what you think?

  • Nobody have to care what I think. I just wrote my opinion. I see you have big problem with that.

  • either a '69 or a '71 Mach 1 any day

  • We dont have to RESPECT your opinion but we do heve to realize that it is just an opinion and nothing else
