Globalization is in an inevitable evolution of consolidating economic equality and distribution. I think the phenomenon is apparent in the expanding borders of world governing bodies, the currently expanding pace of communication and the social connection that it brings. What is really unknown, is whether or not it will be a peaceful transition, and whether the powers that be are the model that humanity will adopt, or tolerate. The people are and always will be the determinating factor.

I can picture this the US preaching "Love and peace" we are walking around with flowers in our hair courageous enough to take on non violence with no nukes, The US would a "Model" then the rest of the world would follow? The kind of strike force Jacqueline Cabasso describes does not talk about Internal security of the US if there were nuke parts delivered into this country then assembled here and deposited at strategic locations would be more of the kind of terrorist threat we as citizens of the US should be more concerned about. Having Nukes and protecting our soil from incoming threats is a necessity in the world we live in today, I would be more concerned about Iran and Afghanistan's nuclear capabilities
