Comic books were one of my favorite things. I spent a bit on them and re-read them and they were a great source of entertainment. Kids today have no idea how to enjoy simple pleasures like these. They are missing out on so much. I am blessed to have been born at exactly the right time in history.

In 1963, coke was a dime a bottle, chocolate bars were a dime each, mini-jukeboxes were mounted on tables of restaurants, they had music magazines with the lyrics to popular songs, you could rent a room in a nice, clean house for $8 a week, you only needed one wage to raise 5 kids, own 2 cars and go camping every weekend. Drive-in movies were great and awesome cars. I sure wish that I could relive that time with what I know now. It was FANTASTIC. I was young and wild and life was awesome.

@OropherThranduil The company of children is always a peaceful experience to a good heart. If an elderly man were seen entertaining children in this day and age, it would be considered "wrong" and the man would be considered a "pedophile." Sadly, this is the correct assumption to make as a precaution for the children's safety. I honestly wish I could have lived in the 50s but sadly I was born into a world of chaos, violence, and hate.
