This episode is lovely, the prettiest of all.But where are other parts.Jenny's so lovely and tender. Her aunt or mother is awful!she illtreats her.Poor Jenny!!!Fortunately Ben is here and is a beautiful....oh no...see at the end of the episode of another planet...
Comic books were one of my favorite things. I spent a bit on them and re-read them and they were a great source of entertainment. Kids today have no idea how to enjoy simple pleasures like these. They are missing out on so much. I am blessed to have been born at exactly the right time in history.
In 1963, coke was a dime a bottle, chocolate bars were a dime each, mini-jukeboxes were mounted on tables of restaurants, they had music magazines with the lyrics to popular songs, you could rent a room in a nice, clean house for $8 a week, you only needed one wage to raise 5 kids, own 2 cars and go camping every weekend. Drive-in movies were great and awesome cars. I sure wish that I could relive that time with what I know now. It was FANTASTIC. I was young and wild and life was awesome.
The old man is really a king on another planet who got tired of the job. The guys after him are his royal guard who only want to put him back on the throne. The king lied to the little girl when he told her they were going to kill him....
@zowlik AWE DARN IT! at least I got the title now, so maybe I'll find it somewhere else. Wish it had the whole thing here. This person only loaded one part of a penny for your thoughts too. Unless they were deleted in part.
you are gross. It makes me sad when people make dumb comments about these great episodes, I think it says something about the times we are living in...
actually you see those episodes from the early 60s with the wrong eyes, those of today,
back then pedos didn't hide 'round every corner and are out to kidnap, molest and kill your child.
if you think they are pedo you could also say all those 60s 70s sitcom writers were ill, i mean a guy let cindy brady say ''he's got all day suckers''.
@OropherThranduil The company of children is always a peaceful experience to a good heart. If an elderly man were seen entertaining children in this day and age, it would be considered "wrong" and the man would be considered a "pedophile." Sadly, this is the correct assumption to make as a precaution for the children's safety. I honestly wish I could have lived in the 50s but sadly I was born into a world of chaos, violence, and hate.
This was shortly after the Joseph McCarthy Communist Witchhunt. I think Rod Serling was trying to get in a little shot at McCarthy. He really did that good in the episode called Maple Street. That one is also on YouTube.
it is a beverly hillbillies reference.this actress played the bankers secretary: miss jane hathaway.she was always hot 4 jethro bodine.I figure if she got with him it might give her a little less attitude ,& her neice a little breathing room.
yeh i know it's a beverly hillbillies reference but which one played jane hathaway? the angry woman who look after that girl? I have only seen the 90s movie and a few episodes of the orginal series. I LOOOOOOOVE IT LOL.
One of the All Time Great Episodes. These people seems so genuine back then. Posr more please.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
It's just as well the scrawny bitch didn't enter
the room in time to catch the old man peeling off the little girl's stockings. Now that would've taken some explaining away...

natashaclaire, Hey, I was just pointing out something that is in this episode. I think the person who really has a problem is the one who wrote it.
