  • PINK ROCKS

  • how many pieces did she cut out

  • her name is what? hahaha! Is she a porn star or something?

  • Great thing about being an artist is you can use pastels and even artists charcoal on sewing projects. I'm a cosplay accessories designer so we use whats handy. My moto is go the cheap route whenever possible.

  • That's a lot of pink . . . o_o

  • how do you know when you're on the straight grain of the fabric? With cordoroy it might be easy enough because of the direction of the wales. But how do you determine the straight grain when you have angled cuts and/or curved cuts?

  • DKMontoya: To make sure that it's with the grain, you line up the center line with the selvage. It should be parallel with it.

  • It's a chalk pen, she said in the beggining. It's much better than tailor chalk but depending on what ur going to make it's better to pin the pieces down to the fabric so it would cut evenly. It takes more time but it works for me.

  • ok seriously i would like an exact number of those panels need to make the skirt it would be easier

  • where can I buy that chalk thingy? IN the yellow thingy? Thanks, hope I hear from you, cause I could use one before I start this skirt. Cant wait to start it!

  • I saw a similar chalk at JoAnn Fabric in the quilting section. They have regular tailor's chalk as well.

  • are you cutting with that yellow thing? what is it? just a cutter?

  • I also don't see what it is, but i don't think it's a cutter, because the fiber isn't cut. Maybe to mark it??

Pff, it's hard to find a clear tutorial ha?

    *-*

  • are you guys idots? she said at the beggining its a chalk pen...... dont b such a dumass and blame her jsut use ur ears

  • yeah but what brand and where do you buy it, not an idiot ok.

  • she did say she said it was a chalk pen :)
