I've lost control before. I'm on the same meds Ian Curtis was on carbemazepine. I know what it's like to lose control. This song does justice to losing control. It's brilliant. I wish Ian stayed longer, if he only could have hung on just a little longer. But, he lost control. :(

This song isn't about Ian Curtis. Ian wrote this about a girl he helped in the employment office he worked in. She had epilepsy and when he called her to check in on her she had died from an epileptic fit. This was even before Ian found out he had epilepsy which is completely mental.

This song is about a girl, not Ian. But I feel for you brother.

@addylewis nope- granted they were conventionally known as the MADchester band, Joy Division was a for-runner of this since it was started by Tony Wilson and Factory records granted not known THE MADchester bands but helped start it, they helped Create the magic.

Nope - "MADchester" was mid-late 80's with rubbish bands like the Happy Mondays and Stone Roses...who incorporated house music into the Manchester sound
